tbh it's nothing like as bad as what's been shown all over the news from Anfield, Elland Road over the past couple of weeks...........
Some right do gooders on here ....
Badgerbee. You can not defend the indefensible by trying to calculate a positive from a series of wrongs.Every beach, riverside, park and front room in the whole country.
Yes it is wrong but lets not go over the top. There has been 7 cases in Hounslow in the last week and its going down everywhere. Lets just hope we are coming out the other side.
Hanworthbee. I have just spent four and a half months indoors trying to protect myself, my family, my friends and even people that I don't personally know, like yourself. During that time I have been living off of two bank loans and my poker winnings off banana. I haven't earned a penny, am heavily in debt, have seen both of my businesses go down the sh*tter and have had to attend two funerals of close friends who have died from Covid 19, from a social distance in a crematorium car park. I have had the worry and frustration of a seriously ill mother in hospital (not with Covid) for most of the time since the beginning of the year who could really use my help and support, who I haven't been able to see since February. Having gone through that only to be described as a 'right do gooder', saddens me and leaves me a bit numb.
Mhead bee. I study this closely every day and it is not 'going down everywhere'. It isn't going anywhere except up. The fatality numbers might be down, but that's the result of a hard lockdown. People don't contract Covid 19 and then die the next day. They may first suffer for many weeks and months. Since restrictions have been lifted, case numbers are creeping up again. Slowly at the moment but I will give you a cast iron 100% guarantee, that this is about to explode again and a lot sooner than many think. By the end of August, if not sooner, I firmly believe we will be well and truly f***** and it will all be down to behaviour like this. If so much as one person there last night was an asymptomatic carrier, that could well cause mayhem and heartbreak for hundreds of people.
This video has also been posted on Facebook and the majority of the comments show a level of heartbreaking stupidity. Including one from the most pig ignorant c*** I believe it has ever been my privilege to stumble across. He wrote, "Id take a dose of carona to be there" (sic). Another Facebook member, the second most pig ignorant c*** I believe it has ever been my privilege to stumble across, found this so desperately funny that he acknowledged it with a laughing emoji.
Yes it has happened elsewhere, but I really hoped, naively, that we were better than that. It was a great, historic night on the pitch and I really should be getting excited about Tuesday. But sometimes things are more important. My football mojo has gone.
