No, a sarcastic comment from Brickie Boy

Over the past couple of years, there have been days when I have just been refreshing the GPG due to balls ups, etc.

Southampton FA Cup and DJ sale were certainly two days I remember doing nothing but click 'New Posts' every couple of minutes!

GPG Growth

How can you tell who has made the most posts etc...to see who the real sadsters are? I remember there used to be a top 50 or something but can't remember how you get to those stats??

Go to Members (sic) List and you can sort from the top by number of posts (or any other sort for that matter).

You're 35th, I'm 36th.

You've had a computer a lot less time than me so you're therefore a much bigger geek.

:computer: :computer: :computer:

Did this growth have anything to do with the Coke Cola player competition or are we just venting our spleens more in direct proportion to our team and Boards 'success' this year:rolleyes: .

Of course it could be we have more to moan about than most other footballclubs:sorted:

Is the reason why it is so slow these days?:fishing:

GPG Growth

You're on the reduced access list

Well obviously not since I posted how slow it was and banana or someone with power! lol put me back on full speed cos we would not want the name of the GPG to be dragged through the mud for being slow now would we?rofl

PS fund raising idea  for Al...or is it Nat....oh whatever......

Why dont the proprietors of the site sell:bling: some advertising space on it on the basis that it attracts nearly 1,000,000 hits a year?
Surely that would be a particularly good way to
raise money for BU and the club and for
 and his mates to get rich?:fishing:

GPG Growth

i will let that one pass but only because there is bound to be some prat who does not think that 875,000 is NOT "nearly a million".

I think what  might be saying is that you don't know what "hits" are judging by your reply.

Thanks Mark but hits or visits is just terminology to me!
However I was hardly expecting from him "good idea, thanks for that ROB, why dont you join BU?":D

GPG Growth

No-one mentioned hits, now you start talking about it and lie about the figure!

We had over a hundred million hits last year. How is that "nearly a million"?

GPG Growth

No advertising on the GPG please! Ever. Ever.

i bet it'll be a Welsh product which gets the first advert :fishing:

does anything come out of Wales though......? apart from the 2 bridges... :D

might be a London Welsh advert.... :fishing: 'Come and watch 'real' football at Griffin Park !!! :nono:

I simply mistook the terminology because I am not a no life computer nerd and that I believe can not therefore be stated by a third party as a lie!
I will simply store this post with your one from last night and you carry on my funny friend!!lol

PS You are actually making my idea even more sensible by pointing out my error because I would guarantee that companies who could be guaranteed to have there advert seen a hundred milion times a year would pay an absolute fortune to get a advert on this site.

So stop putting your heads up your BU/GPG arses and REALISE THE POTENTIAL!!!!!!! :homer:

Good one ROB. I'm sure no one's thought of that before. Always first with the news

I am certain that someone had already thought about it, but is that not the problem? Actions speak louder than words Simon, that's my motto! Now I have a lot too say for myself so you can imagine what it must be like when I take decisive action in my business arena!
If the GPG's most important rule is to be truly independant then I am sure some fans will heap praise on that stance.
Me personally I think you should get the highest bidder, let the founders do well from it and donate the rest to BU or BFC.
It is an opinion not an arguement. You and others will either agree or disagree but just think of the possibilities of what such an act could fund!

GPG Growth

think of all those pop-ups !

GPG Growth

I thought there was only one founder who has done nothing since :)

Site News and Views has been up for sale for a while and I've not had the level of interest I was initially expecting.
