GPG Latest Posts Disappearing

When viewing the GPG, generally I just refresh the 'latest posts' function and view the subjects that interest me.

Occasionally however, for some reason, all the latest unread posts disappear from that feed - as if the whole forum has been deleted - and it immediately starts populating the feed again.

Is this normal?

This happens to me about once a year when I accidentally click on "Mark Post as Read" (or something similar)

I suspect you may have clicked the same button I have (as above). Best use the mobile skin on a phone IMHO

When viewing on my phone about 6 or so Months ago, I clicked on 'Latest Posts' and there weren't any, gradually, as other people I presume, posted in that thread they started to apear again.

Mine happens when trying to refresh too but I simply click on latest posts again rather than refresh to sort it

I always use mobile style, I always just click on latest posts again...I reckon it happens one a month

ive complained before that the button at the top on the right hand side is the culprit that does this. They moved it further away from other buttons to accommodate my fat fingers. However I believe it still needs to be moved into the sub menu box. At the top we should have non damaging actions

It's a deliberate option - Mark Forums as Read (an option on the desktop style as well). I often use it if the stack of Latest Posts gets too large for me to bother to wade through.

Apologies. I mean "the engineers"

Actually if there was some kind of offshore development team then I might have more control over them
