Freedom of speech works in both directions so I am perfectly entitled to suggest that you sling your hook if you find it all too much for your delicate sensibilities.

Yes, some people do want this information. It's the only way they can make sense of some of the nonsense that goes on at BFC. I agree, some of the spats are tedious but in the main understanding the factionalism and politicking are the only way some of us can make any sense of the somewhat ridiculous stuff that happens at GP.

You may well be right Nurse Betty but when people log onto here, the majority just want to catch up on news etc and having to read the ins and outs of a cats arse in a thread entitled Greg Update is not what people are looking for. If you really are that bothered to want to know ther boardroom shenanigans and secrets/lies/whispers, then maybe it should be under a different thread!

The internet has given people freedom of speech and access to many things and sometimes things that are posted for all to see, really shouldn't be ( and not just on here ) and suggesting someone slings their hook because they have said something should not be in this thread is very aggresive! Now you have resigned from the board, you are back to being very vocal-now with the mood you're in, I am sure you will tell me to sling my hook too...all very aggressive:nono: :D

How many millions does he have? I'm sure he's wealthy, but I don't know whether he's in the multi-millions bracket. Does he get into The Times Top Rich List, or whatever it's called. Just because he's well known doesn't make him massively wealthy.

I was just reading something back from year 2000 that he made £8 million when he sold his share of Granada or whatever tv crap it was!

...............is it just me that noticed that Peter Gilham was interviewing Barry Quin, who afterwards 'went home' - and immediately after that interview, Peter then interviewed Greg Dyke, who cut short this interview when David Heath turned up, and they along with Keith Dickens then went to interview 'one of the candidates'.....:idea: it wouldn't have been Barry Quin by any chance, would it, before he went home.........?:fishing:

Perhaps they think it is what the Inter in Inter Milan stands for:D - but geting philosophical about this, you could argue that much of human behaviour could be described as such. ....

A jolly quaint article a "bit of fun" to read...it is hardly rocket science to retell the old chestnut that its not about making policy its about putting policy into practice...a more helpful seminar is how to run the policy in practice in the soldiering dinosaurs of public sector working...did you know that when you split from your partner theres plently more fish in the sea too!...more relevant was the comment about David Dein giving **** all away and not being contactable later that day

may I suggest that part of his dylanesquse island discs should include the ballad of (doug) white and a good reading of talking bear mountain picnic massacre blues as a metaphor for this past season...

....................ha.................."thinking the unthinkable is how you become successful"...................I think he meant "thinking that Leroy Rosenior and in turn Scott Fitzgerald could properly manage Brentford Football Club was unthinkable, and how one becomes unsuccessful".................but just maybe, if he can manage to track down David Dein that is, we might get Arsene Wenger as our next (but one-or possibly two) manager if AW decides to leave the Emirates stadium next summer...........watch this space, as they say........:fishing:......and on another positive note, it does seem as if Greg is having fun in his life.............

Listened to GD's interview last night about Terry Butcher on Radio London; he does like the word 'galvanise' doesn't he, must have used it at least half a dozen times in two sentences.
