That’s really terrible! If it had been done by a kid I could be kind about the effort but it looks from the second pic to be done by someone who thinks they’re good at it!

Brentford FC are hunting for a model of Griffin Park made by a supporter and seemingly now lost. The model, pictured above and below, was made by a supporter called Dave Twydell and presented to the club for the centenary in 1989.

I’m feeling more charitable about the Griffin Park seeing what he’s done to the pitch at St Andrews and the post-tsunami vibe he’s imparted on Burnden Park.

As they were all made around 1986 there’s probably a story behind this flurry of inept hobbying.

I'm not so sure. I think someone has got it and it's sitting pride of place somewhere. Just think of all the Bees collectors out there that don't let on what they have.

I think it’s pretty good and you are all very mean. New Road roof a bit out of scale and shame no clock at the back of Ealing road. And no floodlights. Just clicked through a few of them, nice memories of old grounds.
Has he damaged Bolton’s model?

... what can I say ... I do kinda find this funny. The club had it, care of Dave and imho wasn't looked after ... and then 'they' want it back ... anyway, won't say anymore on that. I did have an opportunity at having this years back, when it was found to be sold by a dodgy character. I couldn't house it at the time and got in touch with Dave, who took it. Not entirely sure, re Dave's daughters story. She gave it away ? Hmmm

Having emailed the auction house about this and asking if this is one and the same that was 'sold' in June of this year, they've said it is .... the winner of that, failed to pay up, hence them attempting to sell it again.
.. cant say I blame him/her tbh.
