Hmmm, I was down at GP yesterday (29th) to buy my ticket for the Oxford game (might as well, I get £8 off that way)- but it was bleedin' closed! How are we gonna attract 10,000 supporters if they can't buy tickets, or merchandise, in the busiest retail period of the year!

I agree. I went down to GP yesterday to give in my £10 for the Christmas raffle tickets. I naively imagined that while I was down there I might buy something from the shop. However, the shop was closed (for lunch apparently), the new main reception was closed, Stripes was closed and the office upstairs looked closed and it was only when I went up there that I could find anyone around at all. I doubt any other club in the division would have so little activity around the place during Christmas week.

Oxford yesterday. At 3.03pm there was no hot water for tea until the urn heated up at half time.(Ealing Road tea bar)! There were no warm pies/pasties as the machine had broken.(Charged the same for a cold one which tasted rank)! This is year 2001 isn't it?How much is a micro-wave?I had my first ever crap at GP yesterday.I fear i have contracted beri-beri from the cackhole under the mainstand.I went to use the wc in the Bees room....only there isn't one!!!!(And people pay for a membership don't they?).
I suggest a guided tour with the stadium manager for Uncle Ron....SOON!!!!
Oh...and there still isn't a roof for home fans! The programme warned of poor accomodation for away fans at Brighton and Bristol Rovers too! Rich eh????

Might be worth getting Ron to do "Back to the Floor" like Theo Paphitis at Millwall?

Thankfully I was in London for the holidays, but still I thought I would make a day of my Travelcard as I had to go into London for another reason.

Surprised re comments that GP was closed after Christmas. I was in working each day, and all day...27th, 28th and 29th.
Also there is a WC in The Bees Room!!!
