Good to see fans take the initiative. crowd funding seems like the new bucket collections.

Never forget the fan who danced on the bonnet of my car when we lost 1-0 through Isaiah rankin! Felt that Grimsby were safe that day, but that Alex Rhodes goal against Bournemouth coupled with their defeat (at a struggling Tranmere I think) sent them down. It was nice to that bloke was dancing anymore!

The young lad giving his pocket money softens my opinion of them a bit though!

We were heading to for Dartford tunnel to pick logan up that game. Unfortunately we ended up near channel tunnel instead lol 8 hours later we got there in time.for kick off.

Never had a problem with them, however was a bit perplexed that on the cold Tuesday night in the rain (when we won 1-0 with Charlie Mac scoring) they refused to let away fans into the pubs.

We were in a tiny place about the size of a Mini, although admittedly the landlady was nice and friendly.

About 10 years ago they were dwarf throwing in the princess royal!
The poor Grimsby dwarf was being chucked everywhere??

One of my teachers at Drayton Manor supported them, and spend one hour talking about them one lesson in around '03 when it was a fairly skeleton class.

Wish them well, an example to other clubs of what can happen if you drop to non-league.

Remember that, plenty of old bill around as well making sure you couldn't go anywhere.

Went to the last time we played them, freezing day, must have been 2009 under Scotty and we won 2-1. My in laws are from Grimsby so went with family friends to the pub by the ground, where I was told not to speak as it may not go down well! Still have seen them at Wembley a couple of times and love the old classic "sing when we are fishing"

They are not up there in the Huddersfield category of fans who I choose to dislike however, they are certainly up there and very rarely managed a civil word with the locals whenever I went up there to see the Bees.

I cant believe Drayton Manor hasn't fallen down.
Left in '94 and it was a hole then.

Never had a problem up there as been many times with Bees, Notts and Posh....... but can come over as a little moody.

Only been up there once - the aforementioned 1-0 defeat when fans from.both teams were in the pitch after the game. Don't remember any particular trouble though I drank in the ground.

I once stood with their lot in the away end at Craven Cottage for a play off game - must've been 98. Remember them being a good bunch although it went off at half time among themselves with two families fighting over some long-running dispute.

Seems pretty sh*t that that chap that won the Euromillions was only willing to match anything up to £20,000.

Took the day off work to spend the day in Cleethorpes beforehand last time we played them ? took all of 5 minutes to enjoy the wonders of that place ?

Looking forward to seeing the new Sacha Baron - Cohen film called " Grimsby " . Based on him being a football hooligan and paints the people as overweight, jobless beer drinkers lol

The locals are not happy bunnies !
