Ground Tours

I ve asked before about a ground tour,been to a few other grounds why doesn t brentford do this,would be a great little money earner,

we probably wouldnt get alot of interest... but you're right, it's something the club should offer, even if the role is shared among the employees. would never believe it's economic to pay someone full time to do it... or someone might volunteer?

i did email peter G a while back,he said he d look into it,but i ve had no more replies,i d love to see the changing room,walk out of tunnel,maybe see a video about brentford,have a drink in lounge,take some photos,west ham pay 10pounds adult,5 child(under 16),so i think thats a fair price,

Used to get it as a part of the hospitality packages. Enjoyed it, physio room, home and away dressing rooms, tunnel, police control room(its amazing what they can see..right in clear enough to see a tax disc on a car!) all round the ground with stories and things, boardroom , trophy cabinet Usually the players would start to arrive and you could see all the shirts and kit ready and jaffa cakes and jelly babies ready for scoffing!! lol

If you book the Match Day Hospitality package (I think it's 55 quid for a 3 course meal, decent seat in D Block, half time tea and pies, after match meet with man of the match etc) it includes a tour of the ground. A few of my match day guests have been on it over the years and all found it interesting.

To be fair, I went on it once during a hospitality thing and it was really interesting and good fun.. Don't think people would pay a tenner but if we could incoporate it with a museum etc it could be worth looking into on matchdays..

a mate of mine done hospitality thing at spurs, cost £170, 3 course meal, free bar all that,. had martin chivers and john pratt hosting it, half way through the meal john pratt was making his way round talking to people, and reached them ,,my friends brother says to john pratt "dont talk to him mate , he use to hate you".. my friend said sorry i did ...and john replied "thats ok mate every fooker did, even my team mates" ...........mate said it was good fun worth every penny.....when we get new ground we can do that .. ...must be some ex players from the 70s 80s want to earn a few bob on a satarday

I did the hospitality thing in 2003 and went on the tour, it didnt take long to be honest, we did have a trophy room (a museum is a bit far fetched) and in it we had loads of community awards I believe, but I would not recommend a tour to anyone because there aint much to see

1jay1 - If you go to The Hive arond 1.15am on a matchday and ask for Peter (Who des the tour for match day guests) I would be very surprised if he did not let you tag on to the tour - It's normally only 3 or 4 people so it should not be a problem.

1.15a.m.? How long does it last? Wouldn't have thought there was enough to see to fill the time. Amazing really.

You may jest Mr Coatless, but at the last fans day at GP, there was a fantastic exhibition of Bees memorabilia upstairs.. made me proud to be a Bee (possibly the last time I could actually say that!)

I did the ground tour as part of the match-day hospitality thing on the day of "that" match against Huddersfield... I'll never forget it and I've still got the group photograph on the wall! I did the 'Spurs one, too, with Chivers and Peters (a supplier hospitality thing)... the food was better but it was a match to forget.
