personally I don’t mind them. I think they are pathetic and sad but also it helps to identify new Brentford and tourists which is helpful. I also enjoy looking at them with contempt when passing

they all add to the premier league big club razzmatazz. Don’t you remember the Arsenal blogger who downgraded our matchday experience because we didn’t have enough burger vans ! Don’t give him more ammo ?

They usually have trading licences, and issued by a different council. It doesn't have to be Hounslow. A lot have Hampshire licences apparently.

The reason the club are selling scarves at the pop up merchandise stalls is to try and cut off their supply.

The main problem isn't the scarf sellers but the fcukwits that buy their merchandise...if we make them unwelcome perhaps they will leave us alone

Correct!!

However, why when there is a World Cup match etc can Councils shut this scum down in order to protect the main sponsors???

Councils have to fill out a massive questionnaire before games for big events are given in their locality in which they have to outline (basically guarantee) they will stop them

Interesting, so I can get a licence from sleepy Hampshire and go and sell by wares on the streets of Soho?

I'm amazed that the streets of Westminster aren't crawling with people that have given hampshire money for a licence to trade there, Quite bizarre.

Same happen with minicabs I guess (maybe just outside London now)_

I guess there could be local exclusion orders in place. Not sure if they are police / council or trading standards issued though

Why are they allowed all around the ground ?
Anyone buying one is a gormless idiot who quite obviously knows FA about football and since they support neither side are depriving real supporters a ticket.

Surely it’s not beyond the club it stewards or police to remove these scum.

Behaviour likely to cause a breach of the peace?
That’s pretty all encompassing.
I’m sure any half decent bouncers could persuade them to f*** off!

I’m no bouncer, but I told one to f*** off last night and will be on his case each and every home game.

I don't mind a good tribute band. Saw a Rod & The Faces one a couple of years ago and the lead sounded more like Rod than Rod does now. So can I swap Brocoli for Tribute Bands and I don't mean the people that made the James Bond films. I mean that vegetable of Satan!

I would genuinely love to see their business model & operating profits.

There are normally at least 5 on our walk to the stadium going past the Express.


I have so many questions:

Are they working together?
Do they all have the same design?
How much are they paying per unit & how many do they order?
What do they do with the left overs? They have the date on them FFS!
How much profit do they make per scarf?

Etc etc.

Get them on Dragons Den!

And as they are Private Hire they are meant to after every job.
We had an office in Horsham with toilets and a kitchen.
That has gone now and drivers who dont live local have to find local facilities.
So glad i am out of it.
