But back to this thread: I am becoming slightly concerned that he hasn't put pen to paper yet. I would imagine his Reading contract ran out at the end of June and he is with us on non-contract terms?

the PFA are paying 1 months 'dosh' at Bennett's 'old pay rate' therefore helping us out, he will sign on 1st August, as Smiffy says, why play, train, captain and come to a game injured (C.Palace) and then walk away?
