Me too. Levy has left it too late and Harry wont have a pre-season with Bayern and at this point wont play for them to probably middle of September so why not hang onto next May and leave on a free transfer when he can go to another premier league club (Man Utd or Liverpool) and break Shearer's record and collect a trophy or two.

I think you’re right. But all footballers should be aware of the Alan Judge ‘here today, gone tomorrow’ scenario. I just think anyone with any ambition should take an opportunity when it comes along.

Perhaps he wants to stay in england or his family to have an upbringing here (for some reason). Or perhaps he doesnt want to play in a One team league, or he wants to break premier league records. Not all that simple

If he doesn't go to bayern will be leave to a premier League rival for free and leave his beloved club with nothing? All that simple to me..

Levy has a reputation with transfers. I think he may have pushed this too far or is at risk of doing so. Football administration is of course important, clubs are a business and contracts matter.

However ultimately it is a players world and they'll decide what is best for their career. If Bayern reports are true Levy has to sell to a PL rival or Harry walks for nothing in 12 months. Fair play to Harry Kane if he wants to stay in the PL and wanted to move a few times over the past few seasons, then he has every right to decide, sitting it out might be best for his career if that is what he is planning.

It will change how clubs do business in my opinion if Spurs end up with nothng. Contracts are not forever.

You're talking here him rejecting one of the biggest clubs in the world where he could challenge for major honours to stay at Spurs. I don't get his lack of ambition

Imagine him going next summer to Arsenal on a free and a £40m signing bonus followed by winning the league.

He'll be under massive pressure from Spurs management to leave now. Whatever happens he'll be able to spin it as him being the good guy, and fair play to him.

I hope he goes though. Should have been earning silverware at a top club for much longer than he'll get the opportinity to with what's remaining of his career, unfortunately.

If we were to tag this one in regard to Brentford, i'd say "as good as gone".

It's a slight shame for the league as he's a magnificent player but anything that gives Brentford more of a chance against Spurs is welcome in my eyes.

He's a decent bloke in my opinion and I hope this moves brings him the success he's currently missing.

Looks like Kane to Bayern will be a done deal.

This means his last competitive appearance at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was our 3-1 demolition of them and the 6 fans that were left in the stadium for the lap of honour of their greatest ever player. ??

Purely on a selfish level I want him to leave so we don’t have to face him on Sunday lol, I also think he should leave as if he stays at Spurs he will be there forever trophy less.

I think he’s thoroughly dislikable as a player. Straight out of the Alan Shearer mould. Always committing cynical fouls or taking a dive and constantly in the referees ear. And he gets away with it because he’s the England captain.

Yeah ok .. he does like to play for the foul, but you have to admire the quality of the goals he scores and his England record?

He's nothing like Shearer was, who was a much more physical, even dirty player at times. Yes, he draws the foul, but so do the vast majority of top strikers. I've never seen him as dislikable and I doubt the majority of football fans do.

He's earned a big move - probably should have taken it 2-3 years ago, but no doubt thought Spurs might win something after their CL final. He also could have broken the PL goals record had he stayed, but has chosen to be ambitious rather than set records. He's also earned Spurs a few quid and could have screwed them over by running his contact down, but didn't.

Look forward to all those reacting to Sky rumours in past 24 hrs saying he has no ambition eating some humble pie now.

Best of all though, Spurs will be a shadow of a team without him. Expect Levy to come in with a derisory offer for Toney soon.

The England captain probably won’t help him much at Bayern

Kane is no doubt arguably the best English centre forward in the last decade and his record speaks for itself but what grinds me is how the media constantly going on about him challenging Shearer for the PL goal scoring record. Top tier football did exist before it was renamed the PL. He is 19th on the list and even Tony Cottee believe it or not had scored more top flight goals than him.
