A win for the bees any old how will do me. Then the abacus can be dusted off and permutations mulled over!

Hartlepool have pride to play for and will be relaxed now as their fate has been sealed. Never think a relegated side is there for the taking, unless you played Brentford at the end of 2006-07!

I would take that for sure - taking it to the last game. I am convinced Bournemouth won't win both games, and Doncaster won't either (losing to us).

So we we're on the brink of what would of been an agonizing defeat due to some strange decisions and an asshole called Kitson. Yet we come back against all odds with one hell of determined young/tired team and got something. I was thinking during the match that somebody hates us up there but I don't think this is the case as we've had so many close calls this season and I'm sure it's because it points to one thing, PROMOTION!!

We are still very much in this automatic promotion race even if Bournemouth and Doncaster win on Saturday we've still got a good chance to get it done on goal difference. But it would only require Doncaster or Bournemouth to draw or lose and all of a sudden the job gets much easier. Also they will be playing first on Saturday so by 17:25, we'll know what we have to do.

It's going to be a comfortable 0-3 (BWP x2/Trotta) I really feel like BWP has found his form at a perfect time for us and he's going to really deliver and even Trotta has came back and started doing good work for us.

Cmon Bees, this is OUR season!!

I just hope it's not decided on away goals scored, then it would be Doncaster going up. :(

It isn't - I have looked it up.

In practice of course, the most practical solution would be a penalty shoot out immediately after the match, but that is not within the Football League rules. It would need to be a play-off at a neutral ground.

I think Brentford will win, will it be enough who knows. However, even if we end up in the POs I now really fancy our chances, don't ask me why but it must be the last 4/5 games. We always knew we could beat anyone on our day but the spirit is amazing, the best I can ever remember and will carry us over the line imo. Think we will win but I am not nervous anymore..........just got to take my medication...

The distance between Doncaster and Brentford is 172 miles by road; half that is 86 miles up the M1 so I would expect the play-off to be at Rugby Town. (failing that I suppose the Ricoh..)

If this happens and bournemouth fail get 4 points from their games then both Brentford and Doncaster would go up.
Would they still have the play off to see who are the champions?

Weather forecast is perfect for the next few days, with Saturday being warm and sunny. No excuses for a bad pitch anymore.

We do have two strikers who are championship quality in BWP and Trotta !

Nervous :/ Despite being down I still believe they will fight give something back to the fans. Plus we often dont travel well up north and perform. BUT... our recent performances has show the true grit and determination of this squad which we have lacked in early stages of the season and BWP is on fire.
An early goal will see us through to a 3-0. But get to halftime at 0-0. Probably just 1-0. Meaning having to turn over Doncaster by a fair few on last day.

Really fancy 2-0, an early goal, Hartlepool relegated and an attack, attack, attack line up and we could see a goal fest.
18 scored and 26 conceded in 22 games, so goal fest maybe me being optimistic.
We have 24 scored, 24 conceded in 22 games.
Beating tranmere away unfortunately as muff probably going to prove ain't any great achievement. Beating bury at home was a relegation battle, other than that they went 6 games without scoring. hopefully they might have some young uns out to give them a chance for next season.

A lot depends on what the donny score is earlier.
But, as it looks likely TC will be out the best form of defence is attack so I will go for 3-2 to the super bees BWP (2) Trotta

a lot depends on the donnie score earlier (im already assuming 'muff will win at home).....and im still reckoning notts c will get a draw.....if thats the case, 2-0 bees (bwp 2).....944 bees go crazy ape bonkerslol

but if both teams win the pressure on us will be immense and it could all be different

Wont be easy as there is no pressure on the home team and in Monkhouse,Flinders, Austin and Sweeney they have some very decent players. They outplayed us for half the game at GP and we really need to get at them. Fresh legs are key and I really hope that we can start with Adeyemi and Forrester

Whatever the score will be , if Doncaster and B'muff have already won, it certainly wont be goalless. A draw in those circumstances would be useless to us and we would throw everything and everybody into attck.

I am absolutely convinced that Bournemouth and Donny won't both win on Saturday. Enormous pressure to perform and get a results for both teams. Notts County are dangerous and Donny don't have a great home record for the top team - and Carlisle haven't lost in a few games.

I'm personally dreading this game; Clayton is out, Craig is out, our rivals could be sitting 6 and 4 points ahead of us before we kick off, Hpool will surely play for cameras and pride and we could not beat them at home when they were crap.

Saying all that, I believe our midfield will deliver on the day.

2:1 or 3:1 bees.
