Hartlepool

Hartlepool

Me and Ricko are travelling up on the Friday.

One of four grounds I have yet to do, so can anyone give me advice of what Hartlepool is like on the Friday night?

After watching the 'Old Bill' programme the other night, looks like its a bit lively?

I think what I'm saying in a round about way is what are the local slags like? and failing that are their any decent lap dancing bars in town?

For Ricko ofcourse, not me!

same old question - can anyone find directions from the station??? also, where's good to drink near the ground?

Hartlepool

Hartlepool train station is a ten minute walk from the ground. Leave the station and go straight up a short approach road. At the end of the approach, turn right and head up Church Street towards the large church. At the end of this road is a bridge and junction with the A689. Go straight across the junction and the ground is in front of you on the left hand side of the road.

Don't know about the Beers though.

just a little warning to anyone going by train. when we went up a couple of weeks ago, there were quite a lot of 'chaps' in the pubs by the station waiting for us before and after the game. got a bit out of hand with bottles and the like being thrown.

from what i've heard it was pre arranged but it might be an idea just to keep your wits about you. these fellas weren't messing about and it was fairly grim. but had a great time in the jacksons wharf by the marina. good drink and a good football bar.

though you'd like to know.

Andy
