You need to put them in directory in a computer that is connected to the internet as a server.

You might have got some webspace from your ISP to make your own page in. You need to find out the settings for that amd you can put whatever you want in there. You don't need any special software if you are using windows Internet Explorer can be used.

Perhaps, Sir Alex, in your infinite wisdom you can tell me why I cannot post a pic that I received in an email in a message here.

The GPG doesn't have enough space to put up your pictures. Basically every website has a server. A server is a computer, and just as your computer has a limited amount of MB in it, so does the server. The GPG's server is stretched already by the number of web pages it has to store. Therefore your pictures need to be put on another website where they will be allocated a URL, e.g. http://www.tommyspage.co.uk/me/longhair.jpg

You then put that URL into a message on the GPG inside bits of text like and it comes out as this:
[img]http://www.tommyspage.co.uk/me/longhair.jpg

Its simple really

The only "simple" thing about all of this is the 'thing' in the picture

It's worse than my passport photo which was taken two minutes before I threw up outside Woolies in Windsor at 3pm on a Sunday afternoon after a bit of a session from the Friday night thru' to Sunday morning !

OK here we go I'll try again

To be able to post a picture.

The picture needs to be in JPG or GIF format and stored on a computer that is connected to the internet as a server.

You then need the internet address for the picture this would look something like : http://www.pictures.com/pictures/picture.jpg

Then to post your picture on the GPG you use the UBB IMG tags to insert the pictures address into your post like

<img]http://www.pictures.com/pictures/picture.jpg[/img]

You have to replace the < at the very front of this with a [
There must be no spaces between the first [ and the last ]

Hope this helps.

I have said before that if you do not have any webspace I will put the pictures into my space and send you back the URL (address(Universal Resource Locator)) for you to use them on here.

email them pictures to me at
[email protected]

Any questions?
