Can't agree with that. I think HD's been one of our most consistent players this season, from day one, unlike the majority.

He's off in the summer anyway so will be replaced then.

Possibly my MOM yesterday. Keeps driving us forward and plays intelligent passes on the deck. Mainly very solid defensively and always an aerial presence which is important for us, especially as an occasional outlet for Raya. He's a mainstay of his national team for gawd's sake... he can't be that bad.

Neither side created very little because of the quality of defending and pressing. But, as you and others have said, we must get better at overcoming this scenario. Certainly what we needed to do yesterday was to find an end product to the small handful of potentially good opportunities which we very nearly created in the first quarter of the game. We have to convert in these tight encounters. Score early and the whole dynamic changes.

He’s had a very good season imo, however he was, again imo, targeted by Hudders with those hoofed high balls behind him, obviously one led to the goal but they kept doing that knowing that Grant, O’Brien the dwarf and others were nippier and some stronger than PJ and HD. HD runs in treacle when turned and had no chance with the move that led to the goal, PJ defended poorly which hasn’t been the case very often.

I like Henrik as our fullback. No issue. Everyone has their ups and downs. This season he’s been one of the most consistently good players.

Will be interesting to see who comes in as the replacement in Jan or next summer. If, as I assume, he’s off home.

I think Rico has been pretty poor going forward this year. His final ball is generally poor and he seems to have lost confidence taking his man on.

I have to say I think HD has offered more than Rico so far this season. Young Rico seems to have gone backwards to me and I am a big fan of his. I'd have thought we'd have seen a big improvement from him as he's been injury free and had a good run of games. I'm still waiting and hoping.

agree, and think it'll come - he's definitely "having a rough spell" or "not at the top of his game" or something like that - but i'm confident he'll get through it (if he can survive without picking up a knock along the way!) and be a cracking player within the next year or two.

Mate, think that's a bit disingenuous, he's not just a 100%er like Eddie Hutchinson.

We all see it differently but based on our budget I reckon he's pretty decent, albeit by no means perfect.

Seems to have developed a neat ball inside to Watkins or Benrahma to help us play out and that worked well on many occasions. Goal wasn’t his fault as he was left with two players and Pontus didn’t come over to cover (not the first time he’s left a player unmarked to score). For me Dalsgaard has been excellent this season.

Fair comment, especially the pass Henrik plays on the deck inside, early to Ollie or Saïd. Sets us up well to either continue inside, switch play or play Henrik back in on overlap. Re goal, in fairness to HTFC the scorer struck it very early and it was as clean a strike as you will ever see.

He used to do my head in as he always gave the ball away and can't cross to save his life. Although his final ball still has me putting my head in my hands I really like him, he is a leader, as tough as nails and always does a sound job. Sure there are faster, better, quicker attacking full backs out there but not many are better in the air or are as quick to be counted when it gets tough or the fisty cuffs start flying.

No problem with him at all.

That’s because you have mercury poisoning. Dalsgaard has been consistently one of our best players. He should be offered a better contract at least. He has probably been satisfied with his deal with Brentford because it gives him freedom.

Not really, Colin was probably one of the best right backs we've had at the club. Such a classy player. Agree Dalsgaard has been one of our better players but this season he's really started to step up a level. Prior to that I thought he wasn't quite up to Colin's level..

He is a totally different type of player to Colin, both have their strengths and weaknesses but Dalsgaard IMO is the better all round player and far better defensively.
