Attention stattos, where do I find historical results and scores for Brentford? I'm trying to work out my record watching the Bees.
I'm fairly certain that I hadn't watched us win away from home, in the league, since the year 2000, until the Shrewsbury game, in which case I have now watched us win three away games on the trot. I also haven't washed since the Shrewsbury game, and I'm still wearing the same clothes.....:(

Soccerbase is great for recent stuff, anything in the more distant past, even ten years ago, it isn't so hot on.

No team line-ups before about 1998 and no scorers before about 1990.

AFAIK the only complete record anywhere is in 100 Years of Brentford with more recent stuff from Ten Traumatic Years and then Soccerbase or even the club's official website and I'm sure that is not perfect.

Cheers for that. I was right though. It was Boxing Day, 2000, that I had last seen the Bees win away from home, until the Shrewsbury game this season. I had attended between 30-60% of away games (depending on the season) and kept on picking ones where we drew or lost. Even the infamous win away at Reading was one where I was in a huff, decided not to go because I was a jinx, and we won! Typical.

Cheers again.

Soccerbase isn't always right either. I have actually corrected them once. :computer:

that fact was noted in a home programme a little while ago, keep up man!

the stat took look for with K O'C is how long has he been at BFC, on the books from apprentice and as a pro? as a pro from 1.8.99 so this is his 9th year, could he be one of the rare players that gives 10 years to their club? would be deserved IMO, just one poor year in those 9 so far!

He signed contract forms in February 2000, and joined as a trainee in the summer of 1998.

Mark

Supposing Kev O stays with us, would this year or 2010 be his testamonial year?

I assume it is 10 years from signing a contract, but he would have been with us 10 years this year.

It's up to the club and player, normally decided in their latest deal. It usually starts from when the player hits the first team but there's no rules, and players cannot demand testimonials either.

Spurs used to have a long standing policy of not awarding them until the early 1970s.

309 games. Seems about right.

the email to soccerbase was reagrding when he signed, not the matches he played!
