Hoddle's gone

Hoddle's gone

It's quite sad I'd loved to have seen him take them down.

Hoddle's gone

How do u recon they will get on now??? Do better or worse and get relegated.I think they will stay up just above mid-table there to good to go down

Hoddle's gone

Is Wally on the short list?
I hope he doesnt go there . He could take all our best players and the coaching staff

I hope Hoddle doesn't come here :D:D:D

I want Spurs to go down now, either them or leeds.

Hoddle's gone

I think this will make them a hot favourite to go down which as one of the "big five" who were largely responsible for the formation of the PL will be very very funny.

I have seen some statistsics somewhere that sacking your manager mid season in these circumstances rarely leads to avoiding the drop despite what people think.

Hoddle's gone

I wonder how long it will be before they ask Perryman to come back and help sort this mess out?
I would think Steve Coppell could do a fair job there as well.

Now what a dream team that would be to have at G.P.

I reckon they'll finish about 15th

At your age Pinch I think you should be seen and not heard, therefore such opinions should remain in your head:wave:

Raddy Antic is the favourite...........Hoddle apparently linked with Reading. As he lives in Ascot it wouldn't be far.

Will he be taking that w***er gormless Gorman who sat next to my QPR director friend at GP last year when we played QPRha ha and said "Im glad I dont have to work with this quality each day":nono:

Well John, today you don't have to work with any quality at all coz you aint gotta job. Laters Jocko loser:wave:

Hoddle's gone

They have had an appaling start and it had to happen at some point.

He did a good job at Southampton but Strachan has gone there and done an even better one so it doesn't look as good now.

I don't think they'll go down though.

Last thing I heard he lived in Woodley, still very close to Reading though.

Hoddle's gone

He may have moved in the past year.......

I dont boast of him as one of my neighbours in Berkshire finest though as I have many other celeb neighbours I prefer:wave:

Hoddle's gone

Southampton fans are in seventh heaven down here. Even the TV presenters on South Today are gloating at the way Southampton helped bring about Hoddle's downfall.

Hoddle's gone

Hoddle won't get a job straight away. Who will want to pay his wages?

Maybe he'll go abroad?
Or get more involved with church activities, now he has more free time?

Hoddle's gone

Perhaps he could always get a job working with the disabled?

They'd welcome him surely?

Hoddle's gone

I hope he goes to Reading and COMPLETELY ****s them up. Two birds with one stone, that.

Feel sorry for Hoddle. He has been treated badly, cos the team he inherited was crap

Couldn't feel sorry for anyone who gets a £1.2m pay out for failing. Its just how it works in the City too.:(

In my opnion, they were wrong to sack George Graham and bring Hoddle in the first place. I can understand why the Spurs fans never took to Graham but at the time they sacked him, he had won a trophy the season before and taken Spurs into the F.A Cup semis which Hoddle lost in his first game in charge.

And his many purchases has changed them into a crappier team. :)
Fact is Hoddle has never achieved anything as a manger, even when Swindon were promoted they had actually finished 6th in the division!!
His greatest triumph was a 0-0 draw as England manager!! :D

Not to defend the mentalist, but he did win a European Cup Winners Cup (remember them?) with Chelsea. err...I think he did. Was how he got the England job.

No.

Chelsea won that in '98, he was already England manager by that point

But he had a lot of money to spend to try and strengthen it.

He failed miserably and upset many of their experienced players in the process.

His man-management is awful, look how many players have fallen out with him.
