Hunt's Contract

hunts contratct

when does it expire? if soon i would rather save wage money for him rather than use it for new signings eg talbot, what do you think?

Hunt's Contract

I think it depends if Hunty wants to stay. If he doesn't, what's the point?

Hunt's Contract

Even if he wants to stay out of affection and loyalty to the club, he would be foolish not to take the higher wages that it is inevitable someone (Reading?) will offer him. Sad, but true.

Hunt's Contract

If i was hunty i'd grab the 1st offer that comes in,anywhere would bee a step up frm brentford.

Brentford til i die!!!

Hunt's Contract

Football is not a matter of life n death but Brentford fc is.

Brentford til i die!!!

Hunt's Contract

Got to agree with Ed, if someone comes in and offers Hunty loads more cash, he would be a mug not to take it. The adoration of the fans does not pay the bills.

I would like to think that Hunty would stay another season on his current wage, but the reality of is, it is very unlikely.

It will be sad day when he does move on, but hopefully he will return and recieve welcomes like those given to Owussuuuuuuu, Smithy and Gibbo.

Didnt Steve sign a 2 year deal in the summer?

I thought he did as we wanted a fee for him and it put others off. So he signed his contract which would take him up to his 24th birthday when he can walk without the other club having to pay compensation. Like in the summer with Brighton having to pull out due to our demands for him.

Steve is 24 on the 1/8/04

No, it's 1/8/05
On the official site Hunt D.O.B is 01/08/1980 that would make Hunt 24 on the date 1/8/04.... On 1/8/05 that would make him 25?

Good to see Hunty at the stiffs game tonight.

Press the red button:-

a) if he was supporting his team-mates and encouraging the youngster to develop or

Press the blue button:-

b) if he was networking with the Reading lot....

Red button every time......:)

Hunt's Contract

If he was too go i dont think any bees fan will blame him or hold it against him (unless he goes to the scum like r******s)
He has i think the club at heart, after all he always gives 100% turns up to most things i.e Luton last sat despite being injured then sitting with the bees fans, and he was the only first teamer i saw who wasn't playing of course that turned up to show there support for the reserves last night.
I hope he doesn't leave though after all i think the team would miss him, he is our leading scorer !!!!!!!

I'd love this guy to see out his playing career at the club (and not prematurely) and then go onto manage us. He has already shown his loyalty to Brentford with him signing a new deal and what he did at Loftus Road last November will always stay in my heart.

My only problem is that in CM 1999/2000, I can't convince him to leave Palace for Brentford :( lol

Cheat and up-date the bees team on the edit option therefore you won't have to buy a new one just for the current team, and you get who you want, if nessasary update there profile to so people like hunts loyalty is 20 !!! ;) ;)

Even if he did sign for the pooperscoopers, it is utterly unimaginable that he would behave to us in the manner of M****n R******s. I think he would be more likely to react like Denis Law did when scoring the goal that relegated Manchester United.

I'd hope not, but - no insult to Steve - you can never be sure. When Kevin Rapley was here, if not a star player, he always looked a committed Bee, but it didn't stop him celebrating very enthusiastically when he scored for Notts Co.. though not as insultingly as MR appears to have behaved at Loftus

Hunt's Contract

If and when Hunt goes, that will be the end.

No other player shows as as much enthusiasm and spirit.
