Ahem, I risk sticking my neck out for what I believe is the greater good...

We all know what a rather large pile of elephant's droppings the club is currently in, and we have almost unaninimous opinion on who or what is to blame for the current proverbial journey up sh*te creek.
But! Given that Bees United's option to purchase the club expired almost 10 days ago we are now in the somewhat unfortunate position where we're at the mercy of our Chairman. Given that most people believe he doesn't care one way or the other about either the club or fans so long as he gets his money back from the Bees, and given that he wants out from the club, his easiest option it would seem would be to place the club into administration - after all he's not obliged to give Bees United an extension to purchase the club, especially as this is dependent on a, currently non-existent, financial backer.

So, where am I going with this? Well, quite simply I ask all Bees fans, no matter of creed, colour, race or sex (I don't like to discriminate ) to abstain from abusing everyone's favourite enemy in the public domain, at least until this current issue of Brentford ownership is resolved, it might be 2 weeks it might be 2 months and it'll require a lot of self-discipline from some of us!

We all know that the unnamed-one reads the GPG and has been critical and quite scathing of fans in general in the past, misinterpreting their words and actions, but our abuse of him may be detrimental to the future of the club - imagine he logs onto the GPG next Monday morning, sees abuse of himself and this helps to persuade him not to generously extend Bees United's option to purchase the club and to place the club into Administration? On the whole, heartily agree. But as a caveat I would say that continuing to as questions is at this point our responsibility. I know that these questions can be interpreted as 'criticism', but not by anyone who shares the desire for Brentford to suceed in this difficult time.

Personal slander at this point, no matter what sort of frustration it is borne out of, is indeed counter-productive.

No, sorry I disagree. This is a public forum, and we have the right of free speech.
If Noades chooses to read the comments aimed at him, adn take them to heart, then a) he is letting emotion rule his business decisions, and b) he shouldn't be in the business anyway.

In his position, he is there to be shot down if the fans disagree with his actions. Bees United are aware of this, and they will need to take it on the chin should they take over the club. i understand what you are saying, but remember that some chairmen, Noades included, have had far worse treatment than wht is being said on the messageboards. This is nothing. Imagine how far it will go should he sell us down the river.

You're right, but fans have the right to express their feelings in whichever medium if they so wish. It won't help, but is Noades really the type of person to not be aware of what we think of him?

Fans need to vent their frustrations somewhere.

Yep, totally agree. I didn't mean to imply we should sit by, apathetically, to let our dear friend do whatever he wants - but as you said, just cease the personal slander.

Nope !

I cannot believe for a split milli-second that Noadesy-Baby gets upset with things written about him. His skin is thicker than a Rhino's otherwise he would have been out of football like a shot the minute he got his hands on the Goldberk Lottery Money.

I dont think noades is a ****ing **** he is just someone who made the stupid mistake of getting involved in BFC, same as the rest of us except he will eventually get his money back.

He gets off quite lightly IMHO given the mess he has got us into and the nemesis we are facing. Have a look at other club messageboards.......this one is a picnic.

Abusive messages may not get anywhere but we have a right and a duty to question what is going on with our club if we want to. Frankly the more that is published by RN about the club finances the more I think he has something to hide. His recent bumblings on the official site are utter tosh ( polite abuse).
