If Oldham

The upside would be one fewer relegation spot - but let's all hope that Oldham survive. I gather that things are also looking very grim at Notts County.

If Oldham

I'm afraid one has to fall before anything is done about the crisis in the lower divisions. Sad, but true. :(

nothing changed when aldershot went bust, can't see anything happening again, it would be yesterday's news before it happened. No-one gives anything but a fleeting mention to ITV digital nowadays.

Aldershot and Maidstone went bust in very close succession back in the early 90's, long before the current financial crisis was starting.

I think there is every chance both Oldham and Notts County will go bust this Season

I think that their time may have run out as they have been in administration since June 2002 and have already been granted three extensions.

There is a fresh takeover bid on the table, but they have less than a week to satisfy both the league and the City Council with regard to its viability.

The Football League board meet next Monday (8th) to consider their expulsion. :( :(

It is all so depressing for the lower division clubs.

Why the f*** can't the Premier League see that the erosion of the lower divisions will affect them as well - only Arsene Wenger has come out and admitted that, as far as I know.

If one club has to go why can't it be Brizzle Rovers????
