iFollow Tech Support Please ?

Evening all,

My tech guru, the Luvly Lorna, is asking how to get rid of the “Bar” across the top of the IFollow picture so that the
picture shows full screen on the TV. She has managed this before but can not for the life of her remember how she
achieved it !!

OOOPS, not to worry, my nephew rang while typing this and you -

Click on full screen to the right if the volume bar.

hardly rocket science is it.

Oh what’s this “Cast tab YouView-**** Source not supported” wanders off to Google.......

iFollow Tech Support Please ?

Sorry in advance for being a complete arse....

It's an away game not covered by the ifollow offer for season ticket holders I'd guess. Just a guess.

iFollow Tech Support Please ?

You should be able to just log in and select ‘next match’ at the bottom of your ifollow account tab.
No code required.
It’s working for me.

That's what I normally do mate, but thats not working for me today

Have you only got more than one ifollow account ?
I say that coz I had to set up a new one on the same email address as my ST to get the free access. If I sign in to my old ifollow the free game access isn’t loaded.

iFollow Tech Support Please ?

Not going to mess around to see what's happening but it looks like I've had to pay another £10 tonight when I expected it to be free, just hope we win and it's worth it.

Looks like I will have to do same

Log out and login again... sometimes works.

iFollow Tech Support Please ?

Tried to log in but it didn’t work, except by paying a tenner. Then noticed the club had this afternoon sent me an email saying I had VIP access - which I already had. Anyway, clicked on the email link and everything worked ok via chrome

iFollow Tech Support Please ?

Worked fine for me today after the crap QPR game experience.

iFollow Tech Support Please ?

I subscribed and paid for the Reading game. What will happen to that? Will it remain booked until it’s played, or will it be lost money?

Keep an eye on it. I would expect the Reading game is still paid for on your account?

AFAIK as the game has been moved you should still have the right to request a refund as you would if it was a ticket to attend the game.

Also 2.5m viewers on iFollow so all is well......

I’ve had 3 refunds albeit a bit late Nigeria than there 2 weeks comment way back

Guessing it will be (paid for) iFollow only, as it’s a rearranged game, so wouldn’t have been part of the nominated Sky “Red Button evening games” at the start of the season........

iFollow Tech Support Please ?

I’m assuming that as it is a rearranged fixture that was originally due to be played on Saturday 23rd January that it will not be on the red button (in any event Hibs v Rangers is on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Football) and iFollow oases can be bought but won’t be available to ST holders (again because it was a Saturday away).

iFollow Tech Support Please ?

Is Ifollow responsible for using untrained cameramen? I dont see any reason that both linesman should be onscreen at the same time, and it was like that for most of the game. The stands are empty but it seemed as though having them in picture was as essential as following the ball. Players resembled ants, the main cameras zoom was unused I believe for the entire match. To charge good money for unprofessional coverage isnt right.
There were other complaints too about pictures being behind the Commentary and then feedback? noise drowning out the commentators at the climax

iFollow Tech Support Please ?

It would be interesting to know who provides the cameras if the game is not a Sky one. Mind you, I find the Sky directors particularly annoying as they seem to focus on the coaches on the bench for extraordinary long periods.

If both linesman were on-screen at the same time we would have been able to see what happened with the sendings-off

The club email of 21 December said we'd get free access to home and midweek away games in January. The Swansea game wasn't among those specified, but then again the Bristol City game was, and we've lost that one.

Haven’t looked to see what other football is on that night, but surprised Sky haven’t decided to cover the game as it’s 2nd v 3rd ?? .. it’s a BIG Championship fixture

Ah, OK thanks missed that.
Although the article on the OS doesn't make it overly clear:

"As part of our offer to Season Ticket Holders that froze their 2020/21 Season Tickets to next season, we were able to offer FREE iFollow access for home games and midweek away games until the end of December. We have now extended this until the end of January 2021.
.....
As a Christmas present for Bees fans, to try and end the year on a positive note, we will be waiving the fee to watch iFollow for our home matches for Season Ticket Holders for an extra month."

My iFollow account us currently showing Swansea as "Subscribe now" rather than "You already have access" as it is for the Wycombe game.

I think the reference is actually to the wider camera angle at the new stadium, especially compared with GP but it's also noticeable compared with other stadiums.

I got that, but the point was rather exaggerated :)

Because it was originally on a Saturday so wouldn't have been part of the ST deal...whether it will be added is another matter but then Brizzle would be pay only so swings and roundabouts

Postponed home games from January should still be free IMO, I would expect the club to honour this

Appreciate that, but my point was that one part of the OS article mentions Home and Midweek Aways in January, whereas another section only references the Home games.......

Any idea whether Swansea next week will be an iFollow "freeby" for ST Holders who froze??

I believe it is both as per the original ST deal but we won't have a chance to test it as Swansea is the last away game in Jan and is re-arranged so wouldn't count

Rather than 'not overly clear', I'd say that is actually contradictory, in a way that the email wasn't. And I think that the 'free' games have only been shown as such on iFollow shortly before the day of the match. But with the rearrangements, it is definitely all a bit doubtful.
When the offer is over I won't be paying for every game, but I certainly will for this one if I have to!.

I don’t think at the moment it’s free, as I believe free game were for only HOME games up the end of December 2020 which has been extended up to yesterday at least

Midweek aways were uncluded until end of 2020, and as mentioned in earlier posting, OS stated:

"As part of our offer to Season Ticket Holders that froze their 2020/21 Season Tickets to next season, we were able to offer FREE iFollow access for home games and midweek away games until the end of December. We have now extended this until the end of January 2021"

Suggesting any midweek away would continue to be included until end of January......
Hence the confusion......

iFollow Tech Support Please ?

The match is NOT available for free on iPlayer because it was originally a Saturday away match. Saturday away matches weren't included in the STH package.

Thanks for the clarification.
£10:00 it is then.

Last nites failure in the final few minutes was bloody annoying missing the reason for sending offs

So I presume Bristol city will be likely the same, shame the club can’t re arrange the package for I follow as a exstended item ..?

The audio was feeding back for me at the time of the red cards but the pictures were fine. I assumed it was Marky and the boys with dodgy cables again

Bristol City will likely be "free" for STHers. As posted further up this thread.
