Bees 18-year-old midfielder Eddie Hutchinson could be in line for a recall as early as next week after recovering from shin splints.
The youngster, signed last summer from Sutton, has been given the all clear to resume playing after suffering with the painful problem.
He has undergone an operation to correct tibial compression on both legs, the same problem suffered by his twin brother who plays for Fulham.
Physio Phil McLoughlin said: “He has now got his fitness level up to the stage where he is available for selection.”
Northern Irish Under-21 Gareth Graham is another on the mend following a nasty leg infection.
He needed plastic surgery on the wound and has just returned to the club after spending Christmas with his family in Northern Ireland.
He is now working on his fitness and could be in contention within a fortnight.
Winger Tony Folan has had a troublesome cartilage trimmed and is now free of pain, but it may be a further six weeks before he is available for selection.
Things are looking up for the Bees!!!
