Don't think it will cut much ice with Boris, those people that insist Strand on the Green is some kind of rural idyll get on my tits.
If they need proper peace & quiet they should go & live in a village in the sticks, I'm sure most of them could afford it.

Living in Reading I don't think I would have seen that and watch BBC news any way, if however anyone who did see it wants to lodge a complaint on the basis of impartiality & accuracy then you can do this through Ofcom, I don't know exactly how it works but imagine that the more complaints they get the more likely they are to do something about it, as some one has said this will have been triggered by calling in a favour as opposed to someone in the ITV news room suddenly deciding to take up the sword of Damocles.

I'm sorry... "ITV" and "news" in the same sentence... does not make sense. Someone has fed them this tripe to try to influence the London Mayor's office and the DCLG, although I suspect than no-one from those institutions would watch ITV and be fooled by it.
