I get the reasons why but it's so frustrating the transfer window remains open for the first few weeks of the season. Not helpful having players in limbo, and difficult for the managers not knowing what their squad will look like.

If it's true that Ivan is not actually close to leaving I think it's ridiculous he hasn't played today. He's our player...what are we paying him for if it's not to play football?!

It’s been a mutually beneficial partnership, he’s been paid well, has developed as a player and has received international honours whilst we’ve received lots of goals, promotion, continued club progression and almost certainly a handsome profit on our purchase price.

Reckon it's a fair assumption to think we said no to a bid of around 35 million, Toney and agents want the big contracts, lots of parties talking to find a solution but not meeting our value.

Where ever Ivan goes, as a old timer Bees supporter, I would like to thank him for what he has achieved whilst at Brentford.
A footballers career can be over in one game ?‍. So Ivan thinking for security in this uncertain world, I can understand.
