I've got this feeling

i'm not getting carried away,but i've got this gut feeling at the moment that brentford are on the verge of something big.anyone else think the same?

I think with AS (yes I wasn't sure), LR (and the timing of it) things are on the up. How far that up is he didn't say but they are. I am thinking about play-offs this season and what that results in

I understand the not tempting fate thing but what's wrong with a bit of positive thinking? I hope were on the verge of a turnaround in the clubs fortunes, which although will take a long long time, we'll all look back on and remember in 5 years time, that game against Grimsby...the very bottom as we all breath a huge sigh of relief that we're watching championship football under Andy Scott at Lionel Road, along with 10,000 others. :sorted:

i was there that day at home to grimsby,i looked around & just couldnt belive what had happened to our club.we had sunk so low i just couldnt comprehend what was going on at our club.i hope this thread is alive in 5 years time because i'm sure we are now on the verge of something big,i'm sure of it.

six weeks ago many thought we were going to be in the conference next season and we were doomed.

we are not doomed and we have turned the corner.

but one step at a time.

if we can finish top twelve this season it will be better than 90% of the folks on this board expected at the start of last month.

now next season................. expecations will be high. and rightly so.

play-offs at worst!

We can do better than a top12 finish, Barring suspensions and injurys the play offs are a possibility. The promotion push has already started.

I think maybe the difference this time, if there is one, is that apart from the huge improvements on the pitch...there are signs of improvement off it too.

Disappointing that Wycombe beat Chesterfield today. Now 11 points off play offs but good news is we have 2 games in hand.

Looks like we need to pick up where we left off starting on Tuesday.

Chesterfield are at Stockporto on Tuesday, so another chance to close the gap.

If we can get their lead down to 5/6 points by md Feb, it will start to look more than possible. :)
