Brentford ... were a joy to deal with during the process.
Professional as ever.

Best wishes on your career, James.

James Ferry

Things might've been different had he played during his loan at Wycombe last season, he may have won more than just the one first team call up that he did get.

James Ferry

He's another one who could turn into a very good player but this is probably for the best all round, given how far from the first team he was.

Best of luck to him and I hope we have a sell on... :)

James Ferry

Good luck, James. :sorted:

James Ferry

Is this not the player who went from Everton to Tranmere last season ?

James Ferry

Good luck to him. Looked good in the B team and Stevenage would have scouted him when he played against them. If we were in League 1 he would have likely got the chance to push on but a top 10 Championship club the entry requirements are higher.

Agree. I always thought we had a player there, but BFC knows best! Him being on 2m trial at S.B. explains why other "B"s were recently in & around the 1st team & not JF.(Last year's Captain.) He has to view it as taking a step down to base, & then to come up the ladder again. Compensation is/will be payable - it's just his development will be slower than we can allow, and takes place elsewhere.

James Ferry

At least, like Mawson, Norris and Pierre , we have received a compensation package for a player who was nowhere near getting into the first team.

James Ferry

Good luck to James.

We all know about the compensation for Mawson. Brings it home the comment his compensation 'paid for Canos'. In terms of Norris and Pierre, I wonder if the compensation is more than what we received for some first team players 5 - 10 years ago.

James Ferry

good move for him just turned 20 and time to start looking for first team football......will happen to a lot of B team players in the future

James Ferry

From the little I saw of Ferry, I thought he looked very promising. I hope he proves me right and we get a nice bit of sell-on in a year or two. Good luck, James.

James Ferry

Has joined Nuneaton on loan, under his own steam.

GPG pun machine malfunctioning on this thread

James Ferry

Considering how highly regarded he was his career appears to have sailed up sh*t creek abit

On 21 June 2019, Ferry joined National League South club Eastbourne Borough on a one-year contract.
