Blimey, we really do have the look and feel of a proper club. If, and I stress if, we can get out of this poxy division this year we really do have a fantastic platform for the future...

sounds good but why are we sending him back..what if he breaks his leg or Dean gets another injury...are we really going to play Kev at the back v wolves?

I like this arrangement. He's going to get regular games (which he wouldn't necessarily get here), but then will definitely be here for the run-in, meaning we avoid another situation where a loanee may be recalled like Liam Moore last year.

I thought that deal was beyond us.
A rather unusual loan type arrangement, but I guess that was needed to clinch things.
And it does bring some benefits to BFC and the player.

I guess Oldham held out, so that to get him straight away would have been a deal-breaker (or at least would have cost significantly BFC more money)?

Looking at the bigger picture, this is (yet another) very encouraging signing.

From the language used on the O?S I take it there is no chance of the loan being extended beyond the month stated.

Isn't it a bit unusual to have the player a week and send him back to OAFC? Don't these kind of deals usually mean the player just stays where he is?


Hope Opinions5U doesn't take against us all now:D: I know James Wilson has had injury problems but if he is anywhere near the player we had they have got a decent one there

I think the one month loan back is interesting. Presumably Dean will have racked up another two yellows by then and face suspension so we will need cover. Good timing.:D

I think you will find that there is some rule that stops that happening. Not aware that has happened before. Don't think we will see him in a Bees shirt until March at the earliest.

Must have been part of the deal - loan window opens in a week, gives them proper time to find a replacement.
