Jinx?

3 years since I last saw the Bees win away. I know there's no such thing as a jinx, but I'm starting to get a bit worried.

Anyone else have this problem?

In fact, I have only ever seen us win away 8 times in the 10 years I have been watching Brentford. This scares the living daylights out of me.

See you all at Wycombe!
;)

how many away games do you go to a year?

About 3 years ago, I went to around two thirds of the away games. Now, around a quarter to a third, but that's mainly down to work these days. When I lived in Leicester, it was quite easy to get to away games too.

LB, you are just an amateur. Last time I saw the Bees win outside GP was Swansea away (1996, I think) where the scorers were Paul Smith and Nicky Forster. Granted, I haven't been to many away games due to me playing instead, but that's still a poor record.

I'm trying to think... it may be Barnet 0 Bees 3 in the Third Division - so it's four years for me. I'm trying to think of all the grounds i've been to!

Reading away last season was the one to break all ducks, almost 3000 Bees saw that win! Where were you all that day?

Willing the Bees to win by staying away.

so Leicester Bee is almost directly responsible for us being in the 2nd division now... LET'S GET HIM

albeit i am only an amateur, me and my mate Gary (Gazza Bee on here) have done between a third and a half of the away games in the last couple of years, but had never been to a game outside GP together and seen the Bees win before Huddersfield this year  which was the first time Gaz has seen us win away for about 5 years (he goes more than i do! but somehow i managed to see us win at Chesterfield 2001 and Cambridge 1999, both games he missed :laughsm)

Last season I had attended a right set of away wins...

Brighton
Reading
Bristol City

Reading was top as it relieved sooo much anguish after the previous 1-0 and 4-0 losses at the Mad Stad.

Bristol City was the best though as it was a joy to see their massive stand to the right of the away end emptying as thousands of people left!
