So sorry to hear this sad news.
Didn’t know John but from Moribee’s heartfelt words obviously a good chap and a true Bee.
Rest in Peace John.

RIP John, heard the sad news this morning from another source, and had stood with New Road John as we new him in the Ealing Road up until a couple of seasons ago when his health took a turn for the worst.

Life long Bee and at least you saw the more recent success at Griffin Park . CHEERS JOHN and safe journey

Many years ago, a West Ham mate of ours jokingly asked him if he was Brentford's top boy, are you the one they call New Road John. The nickname stuck and as much as he hated it he was well known around Cranford as New Road. Proper Brentford. Many memories.
RIP mate

Yes New Road John was his handle. His Mum called him it once in the Queens Head and it was funny

Not sure if we ever met, but he is BFC. RIP John

Not for the past 3 years or so, before that he was a regular weekender, and a few years back an everynighter

Good times in the Queens Head with Eamon etc. A Brentford pub in Cranford. He also used the Red Lion or Cow in Harlington. Too young.

Unfortunately one off the Many we have lost in recent years who loved and supported our great club home and away in the lean times. Just glad that John got to enjoy our recent success and just a shame the last three years weren't so good for him.

Had good times, Oldham away in the FA Cup springs to mind as well as times in the Queens Head. My mum also refers to him as New Road John.

RIP John, condolences and thoughts to friends and family.

Top man was New Road. So sad his health deteriorated over the last couple of years and taken far too young. Thanks for all the memories over the last 30 years or so. Weekends away, great times in the Queens Head and countless Bees games, home and away. RIP mate from all the Faulkner family x
