No, this was phased out. We only get 5% if tickets are pre-sold by BFC.

Yes, we were close, despite what some people at the club might tell you.

If you mean a % of the attendance at away games, that was done away with years ago, as the Premiership teams didnt want smaller teams to stay too close financially.

If it is something else, i have not heard of it.


Administration - depends on who you listen to.

Brian Burgess said we came within 24 hours of going into administration.
His reasoning was a phone call from Altonwoods finance bod, who asked whether the players etc would be paid the next day, seeing as it had just become apparent that the club was £200,000 below budget already in September.
If we had not paid the players etc, according to Altonwood, we would have been put in administration.
Bees United loan a further £200,000 to BFC to avoid this.

Eddie Rogers, Andy Finch and the BFC Board (including BU reps) said we wouldnt have gone into administration.
Mr Rogers said that a deal would have been done with the bank to avoid it.

While you can't deny the team is better quality, you have to question whether he should have been allowed the budget that he has got.

Depends on whether you think that a short term loss will bring a long term gain. It's going spectacularly wrong at the moment and I honestly believe that MA's reputation is on the line, given the support he's been given.

Let's hope he delivers.

Getting back "on topic", Mousinho together with Clark Masters made his debut Saturday for Slough Town in a 2-1 away victory at high-flying Fisher in the Ryman Premier. Mousinho played in a back 3, with Masters in goal.

MA is off to see them play for Slough tonight in a home game against East Thurrock

Ahhh, the bait has been taken!

Interesting that Saturday he played in a back 3 for Slough. I know little of him other than feedback that at 18 he is already a good strong physical athlete & capable allround player who can fill a number of positions.

In terms of the Brentford first team, the usual route for a young defensive player would be a few outings at full back (a la Osbourne).

Interesting that Dobbo is being made available for a loan, this raises the question of who would cover RB in the event of K'OC being unavailable. Maybe longer term, a player with his attributes would be groomed as a central defensive player

Any comments??

Unfortunately, "the deadlock was broken in the 40th minute as a Masters clearance was blocked and as the ball fell to West, the veteran striker stroked home from the edge of the area into an unguarded net." Clark Masters uses the same goalkeeping coach as Nelson doesn't he? :(

Good spot. Obviously a cunning plan to get round the regulations that you can only have 1 number in the squad. Ross is No.38 & played against Oxford, whereas John has been a sub recently & promoted to No.22. Therefore we have 2x non-contract players for the price of er, none.

Is it because he's american & uses both names? Should we refer to him as
"J R"? Is he an "Ewing"? Is Doug White investigating potential investment?....
