John Salako

Ive been to a few matches this season and i have heard alot of critisism aimed at John Salako but i can't understand why.......from what ive seen from him he's been putting some topdraw paformances!!!! He's working hard.......showing skill and alot more. When i heard that he had signed for the club i was really excited and so far he's been exactly the sort of player ive wanted him to be!!!!!!!! So lets stop criticising players what ever us fans say at the end of the day its MA decision who plays. If he thinks it's the right decision to play a player he must be right.....he's the one that sees the players day in day out.

Salako is pure class. Shame Hunt wont be around longer to learn how to cross a bloody football. Its the ultra pro Hunt's that don't like Salako sadly. If they were at Torquay it would have been evident in why we have JS and SH is off.

I am an ultra pro Hunt fan and I thik saloko is the bollix in fact you will find i am an ultra Bees fan and will support the players through everything whilst they have a bees top on.

It is the Ultra moaners you should moan at marky bee not the Fans.

I think JS did need a few games to find his feet with the type of football played in this division, therefore some looked at his first couple of games and raised questions. Do not think anyone can complain about his attitude or skills now tho

I'm not totally anti-Salako, I just think that he's stopping Hunty from staying. I'd play both of them on the wings and Tabby in the middle if I picked the team but I don't think MA sees Hunty/Salako/Tabb all in the same 11.

As for SC and Grid Iron, as like to I call it('cause IMHO it's shouldn't be called football), he loves it.....can't think why?!! I loath it! :yes:

Maybe he's a frustrated DEEEfensive player (ie 24stone)

Quite agree with you, it should not be called FOOTBALL and as much as I love Rugby League too I can not fathom why Stevo calls it Rugby League Football all the time

Rugby League Handball would be better :yes:

Class is the word you think of for JS, his control, passing, crossing and the general efficiency of his wing play is one of the best seen at GP IMHO as perhaps befits a former England International. He should be studied by every wannabe player.

Hunt is in a different category, the Gordon Hill mould ( remember him??) great flair quick, passionate and master of the unexpected both good and the not so good ( at times).

Love to see both of them in the team to be honest.

I like salako and hunt on the wings as well but I do not see what the problem is with having both of them and tabby all in the squad. We have already seen after 9 odd games that injury and tiredness has already started to play a part before any suspensions.

Why is everybody so worked up over whether it is hunt,tabb or salako.. why can't we use all 3?

I do not see JS as centre midfielder though, he is an out and out winger not a ball winner. Sven goran errikson might have tried to play him there but not MA!

i like salako as a player and a professionel but maybe he would be loved more if he didnt harp on about dropping down a league and how he is doing us a favour, love the idea of hunt and salako on the wings with tabb in the centre so we can really attack teams
ps some of hunts crosses in the first half at torquay were quality with salako and hunt both on the wings we have the strongest wingers in the league

From what I saw of Salako on saturday he was pure class, ok, its the only match I`ve been to, so I cannot comment on previous performances, but I`ve seen enough of Steve Hunt over the past few seasons to know he has a lot to learn. If for some reason he stays at Brentford then he has to accept that he will be 2nd fiddle to Salako and learn his trade from a professional, and no doubt Hunty will get better. I mean he didn`t have a bad game at Torquay, but has to learn to stay upright first when going to make crosses.
Salako is a great player to have in the team, as along with Burton brings some much needed experience into the squad which IMHO has been lacking for the past few years.
This can only be a good thing to bring on the younger members of the team, Hunty included.

I diddnt know there was any critisism aimed at salako, since the start of the season i have thought he has been class.

Infact the way beckham has been playing latley salako could probably take his place in the england squad

Ok perhaps a lil exageration, but i still think salako is v good
