The gist of this text was originally posted by sjcb in a seperate thread, but in my opinion what he or she has said sums things up so well that I thought I'd copy utilise their text to make this plea.
Time is incredibly short. Real fans must stop wasting their creative energies on issues that are simply not relevant at this point in time.
BEES UNITED have just over a month to exercise an option on behalf of all of us fans to purchase the interest of the current owner.
If BEES UNITED fail to raise sufficient funds that option will fade away and we will lose much of the value of Griffin Park to the calls of current creditors.
Every real supporter must do whatever they can with respect to cash donaions and/or standing orders. £20 per month is probably less than two pints a week or 100 cigs.
THe blunt truth is BEES UNITED need 2,000 fans to sign up between the £20- 50 per month bracket. This has to be done immediately and not the Monday after the public announcement is made one Friday that BFC is in the hands of the administrator.
It will be rich indeed if this does happen, and we then get 3 - 4,000 people turning up in despair at Griffin Park one monday evening in response to an emergency situation that BEES UNITED have been warning about for ages.
They could then all donate hundreds of ££'s but then it wouldn't be relevant as the option to purchase would have lapsed.
