I'm getting a twinge about the big day now. As someone mentioned earlier about getting emotional, I will have a blubber moment thinking of one person who I know would have been by my side. She'll be watching from above. I hope everybody has a really great day and hope we get to lift the trophy.

A bit of a Northern theme going on here but Carlisle is basically Scotland so that should break the jinx and they'll walk out to see Red & White stripes again and expect to get clobbered like last years JPT final.

Hoping I make it first, having spent three months getting over a back operation and started to go to GP again, just had a slight set back (no pun intended ) and only 50/50 on making the trip now.

Painkillers will have to be used but at least I will be floating happily in the top tier whatever rofl

I agree with you. I thought it was crazy that we all did the minutes silence for Matt Busby. What did he ever do for Brentford or football at large? All he did, he did for Man Utd. No problem with that but dont see why all of football should do the minutes silence.

Now - a serious question. I believe the club shop is normally closed on Saturday if a match isn't on. Does anyone know if it will be open tomorrow? Want to get shirts/scarfs/hats etc.

It is open 10ish I think till 2or4pm

From a friend who went and got a final programme today from it says there's not much merchandise left.........be warned

You may find a unoffical one about though.......

Between 1 and 4 Saturday and 10 and 11 Sunday morning.

Really looking forward to Sunday.
Part of me wishes we were playing some northern undesirables, however Carlisle seem a perfectly fine club and their supporters appear to be decent types.
Think we need to be careful about seeing it as a nice day out. We want and need to win.
All leaving darkest kent for the safety of acton am tomorrow - come on u bees!
