JPT Final

Nah, not really...

I think Phil 'Orangey' Brown trying to piss on Sturrock's parade is though.

JPT Final

But Sturrock wants to do the training and pick the team which is a bizarre situation to say the least !!

JPT Final

Hmm, I certainly think he should pick the team and 'manage' it on the day. If it's just leading them out then nothing else, I think he should dress up as a giant shrimp.

JPT Final

Yes its fecking ridiculous.

Thank you. Can't believe JP would allow this to happen as they are looking for further credibility for their excellent competition.
What with the Hartlepool fiasco, SKY have a lot to answer for at the moment!

Not Browns fault. Strurrock has been sacked and shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the team.

That should just let the crowd sing it anyway but having tv presenters is b***ocks. Its bad enough they do the draw.

JPT Final

It is bollox but yes it is happening...

Soccer AM’s Max Rushden and Helen Chamberlain had been due to lead the crowd in the singing of the Anthem at Wembley on 7th April, with The Football League donating its usual anthem singer’s fee to its Official Charity - Prostate Cancer UK.
Football League Head of Communications, John Nagle said: "Having committed themselves to an intensive course of singing lessons, Max and Helen were absolutely serious about leading the Anthem singing and fully respecting the occasion. Following vocal opposition from some supporters, all parties agree with Helen and Max’s decision to withdraw and Natalie Coyle will now sing the National Anthem in the pre-match build-up.”
The Football League will still honour its commitment to Prostate Cancer UK by making a donation equivalent to its normal fee.

Have you spent a fortnight plucking up the courage to tell him about his apostrophe errors?
