Junior membership

Trying to sign my 8 year old grandson up to a membership. The problem I am having is when you place the membership into your basket, it wants you to assign them to an existing member.after selecting the member to assign him to, you get this error .
Tried ringing the club, arranged a call back but not heard now in over a week.

Can anyone advise please?

did you setup the age/Date of Birth from scratch - ie is this a new membership or a renewal?

we had issues with renewals with the DoB being wrong - so you can't checkout as it thinks it's an adult..

My mistake, assumed you would enter all personal details whilst creating membership for the first time. Now think I have to create him as a friend and family person and then assign the membership to him. Will head off and see how to do that now.

Immediately, log in as him and you will see it in account details top right

no, you create the member as per normal and then once it's setup you add him to your friends and family. They are different steps.
