Surely we can't have two KOCs in the club at once?
Too confusing
Big KOC and little KOC
I think it needed subtitles tbh or failing that an interpreter.I’m guessing that at least some of that is accurate.

Kane O’Connor has been allowed to move on after the expiry of his contract, having been unable to force his way into contention for a regular place in the Development team.

In isolation and given the thread I could see how my original comment could be misinterpreted given the context. Were you reading it in a Scottish accent?

I would contend that it all depends on what type of game you wish to develop, it might be that Hibs wish to play a different type of game that does not suit KOC but he may suit our style, that's what I am hoping for![]()
Well at least the song is easy........we can recycle the Kev song.

Possibly spinning it for a home audience?Im sure i read somewhere that they rated him at Hibs?? Seems like they are trying to play down losing him to us.

Possibly Eddie May?If you read their forum it is pretty clear someone there didn't fancy him. I wouldn't worry about it if our scouts rate him that's the main thing.
I doubt our lot would take a punt and pursue him like they have unless he fulfilled the technical requirements we put so much weight behind. I know who to trust when it comes to judgement on new recruits.By all accounts he's 'more of a defender than a footballer'

where'd you get that from? Hibs fans seem pretty disappointed he's leaving.. Looks like another one we feel could step up fairly quickly..
Perhaps someone has decided that we are missing the odd player who is 'More of a Defender than a footballer'. Reminds me of what is said of Canice Carrol.

Dunno whether it's been noted elsewhere, but it seems he may have had a trial at Burnley last month, with Huddersfield also reportedly interested:

5' 10" or 180 cms?...for a centre back not the tallest

An 18 year old who is more defender than footballer is the right way round imo.
I seem to remember that TF mentioned that is key for the younger players? That they need to know the basics before the flair.
Or have i got that the wrong way round lol
Nor was Peter Gelson
He was a halfway decent goalie as well if I recall correctly (Fulham, away)

Sergi Ramos is 184cms, what's that in old money 1 1/2'' taller. Has scored a fair few headed goals from set-pieces in the CL so hasn't stopped him commanding both boxes in a game.5' 10" or 180 cms?...for a centre back not the tallest
Paul Shrubb was tiny but formed an excellent partnership with Pat Kruse.
