A mate met a bloke by this name yesterday, who reckoned he was in our first team squad in the late 80s.
Doesn't ring any bells with me.
Anyone else remember him??
Or someone with a similar name?? (Discussion was late/in the pub I think!! ?)

Yeah, said he wasn’t a first team regular, but on the bench a few times.

It rings a bell but can't find him in the reserves or youth team in the 80s and he certainly did not play in the first team

The Complete History 1889 -2008 book lists him as starting in a home defeat to Birmingham in September 1989 which I have absolutely no recollection of. I do recall him playing against Bristol Rovers at Twerton Park on the opening day of that season but it seems as though that was an appearance from the bench.

Haag scored against us on a night game towards end of the season where we all just knew it would be Fulham’s first away win. After they took the lead Rostron equalised and we were battering them until right at the end when Phil Stant scored with a deflected winner
