I appreciate him creating the site, but I think some of things he posts are the exact source of the toxicity he complains about.

I don't know if its just the GPG or socail media but people are often put into one camp or the other, if you post something that ones disagrees with. Either your a bed wetter or rose tinted Brigade. I like to think I'm in the middle, so I'm not sure what or whose camp that is?. ?

1) It is possible to view content from blocked members
2) Putting the words ‘fact check’ in inverted commas doesn’t make the content any less true
3) You seem unsettled. I suspect you need help beyond that of the fine GPG community

Tariq has earned his place in the squad through grit and determination, TF was reluctant to play him at all at the start of the season so he earned his stripes playing fullback in the league cup and took everyone by surprise. TF even compared his performance to Dani Alves, while the fullback thing didn't work out for him he has atleast proved himself to be be brilliant option on the wing. It also helps he has great chemistry with Toney.

Tariq has won MOTM atleast once this year ( it may be a high as 2/3) whereas Brian has won 0, bloody good achievement for someone who was struggling to get in the side earlier on.

Fosu has come on and done well IMHO. However, Brian does have alot of assists and that is a fact.

It's not always that people dislike players...

It's that certain people enjoy strawmanning @Untouchable accused me of having a 'pop' at someone when i've done no such thing in my time at GPG, he can't form a coherant response to my arguements just pull up stats which are easily researched on google.

I'm not discounting his contribution, however IN MY OPINION and that's all it is an opinion, Brian is alot easier to defend agaist due to his lack of a right foot and if he's going to fufill his potential he needs to work on that a lot, because all defenders have to is show him down the line and they can be relatively confident he can't whip it in off his right foot.

Do remember that game when Brian took everyone by surprise and crossed the ball beautifully into Tariq (who isn't the tallest or most physical) who scored a header on the back post. We need more of that from him.

What about the game when we made a fast break and Canos was basically in his own postcode, instead of just using his right foot, Brian tried to cut in off his left foot and crashed into the defender tracking back, I can't be the only one who felt the frustration there.

My eyes tell me Fosu>Mbeumo on the right at this moment in time and if Brian wants to prove me wrong there are plenty of games left in season to show his quality.

I understand where your coming from. Although, the chance that Canos missed against Norwich was (if I remember correctly) from Brian who went on the outside right and cross/shot with his right.

I'm not sure why I used the word "camp" in my post earlier. I think I was trying to find an alternative phrase for expressing agreement. Having not followed the thread too closely, I wasn't aware of the friction which I now see. In these circumstances, this was certainly an ill-judged word.
