Since he'd been at Watford for 10 years (i.e. since 7 y.o.), do you know what he was born in ROI, or whether the connection is ancestral? If the latter, he'd also be England-eligible.

While the club write-up also notes:
"The left-footed midfielder has also received recognition from Sweden’s youth set-up." (U-17's apparently)

Citizen of the world. Previous info on line about him seems to indicate he might qualify for South Africa too!

I do not understand your point? He is also qualified to play for England, South Africa, and is currently playing for the ROI under 18 team. He qualifies for ROI through an Irish Grand Mother. All this information is on the original post!
I guess that he is known to our Deputy Head Coach.
Yes, he was signed from Watford who we no doubt as a category 1 Accademy paid compensation.
To repeat the beginning what is the purpose of your post?

I wasn't making a point. Rather, having missed/misread the opening post, I was asking a question, the answer to which I've now received.

First time ever watching this kid tonight so had no idea what to expect but was really impressed with him off the bench. Composed in possession and carries the ball well.

Both him and Bentt more than held their own in midfield in that second half which was very promising to see given they’re both just 17 and 18 respectively.

Would be interesting to see what sort of money we paid Watford for him.
