Could I suggest that the Club arranges an area at GP for a knitting circle (men only)?
A free cardigan and limitless refills to vacuum flasks will see it full. The rest of the Bees support will try to never get excited again and all children to be as far away from the 'real' fans as possible. God forbid anyone allowing emotions to get the better of them. Sometimes the GPg really makes me wonder

I wasn't overjoyed at the pitch invasions (common theme, I sit in Bill Axbey!). However, I thought the fireworks & the Klaxons were great & I'm an old bastard. I thought it was a great way to capture the youngsters & hopefully they'll come back for a bit more of that. To abee & Bee H I say ignore the whingers. You & the team management have at last given us a well managed club. More of the same please.

I am currently watching USA V Brazil, the sound of those klaxon's is awful, it sounds like there is a massive swarm of Bees flying round the stadium. I hope this isn't what it's going to be like next year during the world Cup.

I watched the New Zealand v SA game last night and it was the same. Supposedly FIFA are "looking into it" ahead of the World Cup

Agree, a nice quiet griffin park would be nice so you could read a good book while those silly men play with their ball.lol

Yeah, like you I am old, but I have no objections to noise at a football match. In fact the more noise generated at home games the better. A number of people have complained about the lack of atmosphere over the past few seasons at GP, so why not have klaxons and a drum if necessary to help rack up the noise level.;)

I'm pleased i'm not the only one whos annoyed by this, i had to put the tv on mute after about 3 minutes of the opening game :( I'm all for noise at football matches but those bloody horns just sound awful.

I personally, will be distributing them from the Princess Royal, from 12noon.

Wee Dave, will be in the Royal Oak, with a box of Klaxons, for fans heading for the Bill Axbey Stand.

If you cant find your Klaxon from last season, then meet us there, or fashion your own, from some newspaper, sticky tape and the whittled down top, of a plastic bottle.

Klaxons - leave them to the South American football games. Not required in this country, and if we can't make ourselves heard with our voices then it's a poor show. At least with our voices you can distinguish between home and away supporters. With klaxons it could be any moron from either set of supporters unless of course you ban the away fans from bringing them into the ground!

Given that my chosen seat is now surrounded by ankle-biters (aka The Family Stand), I will be mightily displeased if the aforesaid fidgetty masses are issued with anything that keeps me awake.
