Is this Mr Varneys first decisive decision?Farewell. Best of luck in the future.
Thanks the ticketing system. It’s wonderful. I love it.

At the end of the day a man is losing his livelihood.
I don’t know if he has a wife and kids etc, but perhaps a bit of class could be displayed rather than delighting in another human beings apparent misfortune.
The news that Kurt Pittman is leaving is great news for Brentford Football Club. Not only for the fact that the backroom stables are being cleaned at last but also that a monster who terrorised staff who worked there has finally departed.
Staff lived in fear under him; the constant micromanagement and debilitating methods he used on a daily basis made it a misery for certain individuals who worked under or around him. He knew his style of management would go unchallenged given his relationship with the previous CEO. It gave him the largess to act as he pleased, knowing full well there would be no consequences to his, at times, borderline sociopathic behaviour. I watched him over a course of months regularly trash talk extremely talented members of staff, which no doubt affected their mental health. I’m glad to say most have outstayed Kurt’s welcome.
He would speak ill of selected staff members on a regular basis to senior management and directors with the result that the drip, drip, drip of misinformation being accepted as fact. Well the facts about Kurt Pittman’s time at Brentford speak for themselves: hundreds of thousands of pounds has been spent in the past five years on marketing and we are getting fewer spectators attending at home matches than we did when he first joined. Not to mention precuring a ticketing system that has sent the club completely backwards. We are no nearer being ‘Premier League” ready than were in League One with a skeleton staff.
I can spot a football faker a mile off; his MO was to simply copy everything Fulham did and paste them at Brentford. But as we all know, dogs born in stables aren’t horses. You can have to tailor your offer to match your audience. I can accept working alongside arseholes when they are good at their job but when I saw the evidence in front of me it was hard to swallow.
I always maintained if one half of the Devlin/Pittman partnership left, then the other would follow in short order and so it’s proved to be. I’m delighted the new CEO has taken this step, which will ultimately mean staff at Griffin Park can now breathe a sigh of relief with an immediate improved atmosphere around the club and a chance to reset relationships.

May I remind posters that they are legally responsible for their own posts. If so requested correctly, then I have to provide (in this case) the impacted party's solicitor's with details that we hold on the poster(s) in question.
Stop beating about the bush and say what you really think
I’m just a fan. I turn up at games. I bore some friends rigid about what I’ve seen. I know nothing about what goes on behind the scenes.
Just as well.
I’d swap if I could, trust me. If you end up working for a football club that you support you get treated like sh*t.
I have no knowledge of the man at all. He could be either Britain’s loveliest man or its biggest ******.
People are fully entitled to their views, it just feels a bit unseemly.

Seems like two of you should be applauded for your past restraint. Then again, I hope we are not going to see bad habits creep back in.
The Full List of Kurt's "Achievements"

- "Come on you reds" flag, including the deceit over ignoring the will of the people's vote. He should have been sacked for this alone!
- Blaming the above on a junior member of staff.
- Kurt-a-tron, thank **** that got kiboshed eventually. But not after it's contribution to Pitchgate.
- Ticketing System. He should have been sacked for this alone! Instead his boss copped-it. Fair enough.
- Complete denial that there are any issues at all with the Ticketing system. He should have been sacked for this alone!
- Rotherham (H) ticket debacle. He should have been sacked for this alone!
- Gantrygate. He should have been sacked for this alone!
- "Simon Chase". He should have been sacked for this alone!
- Made-up "wide consultation" over New Crest. He should have been sacked for this alone!
- Selling tickets to away supporters in home ends (esp Leeds)
- Interfering with Sir Peter Gilham's pre-match routine
- #BigNewAmbitions. He should have been sacked for this alone!
- So-called Oompah band. He should have been sacked for this alone!
- Trying to stifle the WSA plans in making a proper home end at Lionel Road.
- Other, general Fulhamification.
- BLACK AND WHITE CLUB BADGE. He should have been sacked for this alone!

I'm guessing there won't be a card then.
I've never met Kurt, wouldn't know him if I was pissing on him and am only aware of his 'reputation' by what I have read on here. But a little story.I can accept working alongside arseholes when they are good at their job but when I saw the evidence in front of me it was hard to swallow.
We could all log messages on to his season card but alas the computer says no

Can anyone clarify whether this will quicken or delay the arrival of the monorail?
