LDV Vans Trophy 2nd round draw?

Does anyone know when it is? I presume it's some time this weekend. Nice to have a round off wasn't it :)

The team I wanted to draw (Oxford) are out now! Don't really mind who we get now, I think we should give this our best shot again this year.

Anyone fancy a 3rd day out in Cardiff in 3 years? Thought not :) :(

I always enjoy this competition, perhaps because every year (except 1997-8) I think we can win it. But another trip to the Millennium Stadium doesn't exactly thrill me - unless it's for the play-offs, of course.

yeah they beat pboro last night 3-2, there first win in five attempts at the LDV.

tough draw, not sure if its worth taking the game too seriously, we seem to do well when we least expect it.

yep! I'm deffo on for that one! PJ has reserved a seat in the car, Fat Bee Slim is at home on a 'reading week' from uni so at least three of us will be there!!

I reckon so, Prophet. As far as I know it's Bill the Fish, Fat Bee Slim, PJ and me as the the chauffeur; so as you are a small one should be alright - confirm with me next week, if you can.

Gotta say am less disappointed by drawing Plymouth than with Wycombe in the FA Cup. I HATE ADAMS PARK :mad:

will be there,quite like these games leave work at 245, 335 train to bumpkintown then either 0030 back(few hours on union street then crate of beer for train) or stay and get 0555 into padd and work for 10. target 50

Bill the Fish and PJ in the same car on an away trip :eek: A nice quiet journey there and back for you RodBee apart from the snoring ! :D Which one sleeps the most do ya reckon ? :confused:

Never given Bill the Fish a lift before but PJ told about his legendary sleeping on away games - and then proceeded to sleep there and back to every away game where he's jumped on board since !

Must say that Plimmuff away is a sh*te one but one of those games where attending is an achievement and "yep, I woz there !" type of situation so ........

It's alright if Bill the Fish and PJ snore in unison - but, by Christ it ain't if they get out of synch!!

B the F is usually asleep by the end of the road but on the way to Tranmere he stayed awake all the way to Birmingham - spooky!!

You honestly don't know what your missing out on :) Although the Fish doesn't tend to fall out of cars as much as Pete :)

just as well wearing those shorts all the time !! :eek:

Rather impressed by Pete staying awake all of the 5 miles from the Pub in Towcester to Sixfields though ! :D

Mind you he doesnt give the `alternative` sort of air conditioning that Panny gives out, so bad on way back from Cardiff it woke me up twice :rolleyes:

I've often wondered if Billy the Fish has a double, last season the man in shorts and short sleaves raised my suspicions by wearing trousers to Bury??

When he got out of the car he nicked my coat, now everybody knows that BtF is the original no-coat.
