Leeds (H)

Members will be required to have
(a) at least 150 TAPs and to have attended at least one Premier League match at home this season;
or
(b) they must have attended at least three Premier League matches at home this season.

Window 1, Thursday 5 May, 2pm: Members with the highest TAPs (and meet the attendance criteria above) will be emailed with a guaranteed opportunity to buy before Monday 9 May, 9am.

Window 2, Monday 9 May, 2pm: My Bees Members at a lower TAPs threshold (and meet the attendance criteria above) will be given an opportunity to purchase before Wednesday 11 May, 9am. (Subject to Availability)

Window 3, Wednesday 11 May, 2pm: The final 50% of tickets will be made available to remaining My Bees Members who meet that above TAPs and attendance requirements for this match, and are subject to availability.

I know we “can’t change the charter midseason” but apart from sticklers for process and precedent I’d expect the overwhelming majority of Bees fans to support the club putting a TAPs threshold on the fastest finger round of ticket sales. It doesn’t need to be high- 100 would do. It needs to be higher than 15 because Leeds fans absolutely intent on getting a home ticket would have taken the guaranteed one for Wolves etc and perhaps to be safe higher than 65 in case any took advantage of the away game going to all members.

disagree. It’s got to be a ‘low cat A’ so way less control needed …. and would also mean many low point bee members excluded from the ‘ Daley Thomson’s decathlon finger’ round at the expense of a few leeds. Nah, let it roll.

What is a "low Cat A"?
I don't think there's much argument for "low taps Bees", certainly not below AB's suggestion of 100 (at most 10 games, but could've been done in 2), being excluded from our final, celebratory, game of our first EPL season ??‍♂️

Leeds (H)

low cat A was trying to quantify the no. of away fan blaggers versus the peaks of Man U, Liverpool or even Newcastle….. nowhere near same levels…… I don’t think?

Cat A has half the tickets on TAPs then a free for all among all members for the other 1500 or so. My suggestion on an appropriate low TAPs threshold for the latter was on the basis of specifically excluding Leeds fans who’d bought a couple of tickets including the game at their place (which was sold out in the home end and cheaper for us). An alternative would be to have bought tickets for 3-4 Bees games not involving Leeds but that then starts getting complicated and likely beyond the ticketing system.

Might also have points carried over from the Championship

I think they took 7k to West Ham in the FA Cup when they had a league game there the following week so even if they have fewer fans who’d travel or live in London than the big clubs they’ll easily have substantial numbers beyond their allocation who’d want to go. Even without the possibility they’ll need a result to stay up and the appeal of a new ground they might not get another chance to visit for a while. Which is why they’re Cat A.

We'll never keep them all out but we can certainly make it harder, especially for those thay have bought a membership just to be able to take part in the fastest finger first round.

Cat A games are classed as such due to the "prestige" of the game. Mainly comes down to opposition, but Villa & Leeds were picked due to being the New Year's Day match & last game of the season.
With so much potentially riding on the game for that lot, there will be a silly amount travelling down without tickets.

My non-diplomatic opinion is that 1 Leeds is far worse than 50 Surrey Reds, especially in circumstance ?

Leeds (H)

Last game of the season. A 4pm kick off on a Sunday - you will pretty much expect a significant minority of Leeds fans will make it a weekend in London and to top it all off stakes could potentially be high stakes for them. What could go wrong.

As I said a week or so ago. Minimum 100 TAPs for this. If we don’t sell out so be it.

Leeds (H)

Hopefully this is one the club realise that safety of fans needs to outweigh financial gain - but I have no faith that will the case.

As we will be safe, and Leeds will probably have much to play for, it is inevitable that some members/STHs will sell their tickets to Leeds fans - so some proper comms should go out warning of serious repercussions if this happens.

Leeds (H)

If Leeds and Brentford are both safe on this final day of the season it would be great to have a bit of a party atmosphere.

Every time we’ve played them for the past few years there’s been a lot riding on the game. For us, them, or both. Been some great occasions but also some nervy ones too.

Yes, you are right, was me being dumb.
I was only thinking it was Leeds…. not that it’s thelast game of the season….. cat A it absolutely is!

Kew Green will be like Bmuff beach 1990 when they won the league….probably tents on there the night before too….prepare for war and hopefully peace will prevail….hello Ken to the max IF they have to get a result ??

Less than 4 weeks to the game and still no news. Category A and looking potentially quite meaningful for the away team.

Is there going to be special measures for the season finale which is delaying do we think?
....the less than 4 weeks says it all....some planning going on methinks.... wouldn't be surprised if BFC are considering blocking seats on perimeter for this...as a safety measure....just in case anything is riding on this game....anyone sitting on the perimeter on either side of aways for me at least is one of 3 things....mad,unaware/oblivious or Leeds...if anyone...(ST holders obviously can sit back and eat their popcorn).....on here thinks that's scaremongering or bed wetting.....buy a ticket for the areas described above and let us know how it goes :sorted:

Or just buying what is available when they get through?

....any ST holder on here that wants to put down their popcorn and enlist for the E115 defenders is welcome....training camp starts next week.....no takers it is then?✊

Details announced. Main additional measure - 150 taps and 1 game attended or 3 games attended to buy. Seems reasonable

Very sensible. Well done to the club.

Note to ST Holders who are away or unavailable

Tickets listed on the Ticket Exchange will be made available to the same members yet to buy their tickets. Fans should also be aware that the Ticket Transfer function will be switched off from 3pm on Saturday 7 May after the Southampton game kicks off. That includes all Season Ticket and Premium Seats.

So if I'm a season ticket holder and there's any chance of me not attending (e.g. I might get Covid that week), I am better off generating a PDF ticket prior to 7th May, and using that, just in case I need to pass it on?

Full marks for the 150 TAPs policy - would have loved to have seen this at most or all Cat A games this season. Members can earn 150 points easily at category B games and away games...doesn't take very long to build up that level of loyalty even if they are brand new.

Leeds (H)

You cant re sell it after the 7th so I guess that is an option

You can still put it on the exchange, or give the person your card.

Any ST holder or member found to be selling their ticket on the black market should be banned for a year.
“ Any Brentford fan who is found to be responsible for passing or purchasing a ticket in a home area to or for an away fan, for whatever reason, will face a lengthy stadium ban and may lose their Season Ticket and/or Membership and all associated rights.”

Leeds (H)

Personally I would turn off the ability to transfer tickets BEFORE any Leeds tickets go on sale.

However nothing to stop email a pdf to someone else I suppose.

Great - missed this part.

If the club is serious about its threat to confiscate STs, memberships and TAPs on top of a long ban it wouldn’t be worth it to transfer to a Leeds fan. If

Hmm…rookie mistake to return the WH-ticket to the box-office I guess?
Well well, there’s always next season.

Be prepared for an increased volume of Bristol Brenda esque threads.
Anyone registering on here brand new and asking for a ticket for home game number 19 should just have their thread deleted and their contact details forwarded to the club to put on a block list. Put it in the GPG sign up terms.

rather have some fun with Zack Dingle first !

Leeds (H)

I read this thread and wondered what, if anything, Leeds fans were saying about the fixture.

I couldn't find anything on their main(?) forum, but I did find this little nugget from their Brentford thread ???

Don’t think you have to miss the game “if you have COVID”? There’s no need to test so if you feel unwell just assume it’s a cold (people can catch bugs which aren’t covid…)
