Les Ferdinand

According to the Standard, MA tried to sign Les Ferdinand in the summer, offering to make him club captain, told him not to come back for corners, let him train only one day a week, provide somewhere for him to land his helicopter and given him his own masseur!

Surely another bit of Bees publicity from MA ;)

Somehow cant see Sir Les coming down this far yet. See his goal last night? Mind you, if MA could persuade him, what a home-coming it would be!!

www.thisislondon.co.uk

but it's not on there.

If it does appear it should be linked from the "BFC News" section on the fantastic GPG.

Read in one of the rags today that Qphaa are trying to tempt him back to them.

They've been saying that ever since he left rofl

Rumour has it that Bolton aren't letting him go out on loan until he's fully fit, and may allow him to go out on loan for a couple of games to get back to match fitness.

Can't ever imagine that Sir Les would ever go down to League 1, but I'd feel certain he'd go to a club that's riding high in the Championship... shame we won't have him for the games against Millwall and West Ham.

Why would he want to go back to QPR they're sh*te rofl rofl It would be really bad if you had him and Gallen back, would confirm what everybody knows; nearly all QPR fans are looking for the past up their own arses. Not you though CSH :D

Um... even if joined us, he might do a job for us - but I'll never forget that he was the worst - yes, the worst - forward I've ever seen playing for us. He'd have struggled to reach Stan Webb and Murray Jones' ability levels. Mind you, he seems to have come on a bit now - Keith Bowen would have had to watch his place nowadays.

Quite agree when he was on loan with us he would have struggled to attain Murray Jones, he cannot have been far short of losing his Rangers contract he was so bad
