What's rather worrying is that it is the BFC Board that will be making this appointment and that comprises John MacGlashan and Steven Callen, as well the whitewashing Graham Hall. Turkey's voting for Christmas - I don't think so. It will be "Jobs for the Boys" I reckon

I truly do hope that MA is broadly OK with the situ - one thing on which I am sure we all agree is that he represents the best opportunity of making us a bigger club since, well I really dont know when. Even back in the heady days of the early 90s we stuffed it up by selling Holdsworth (although I do accept the financial issues), so lets hope we keep MA and get the Board we need to match his ambitious aspirations.

We have £80k of secured loan note funds in, with the only stipulation that this is repayable on 1 years notice or immediately should BU cease to have representation on the BU board.

Given that we are in a position where we hope Noades extends the option rather than BU exercise it the above line scares me.

For Noades to get his money back in a timely manner Griffin Park has to be sold. There are two ways that Griffin Park can be sold in the near future - either we secure a new ground (which we are told is 5 years away) or administration. Looking at the above all Noades has to do to trigger administration is get his timing right and then send all the BU directors out fo the Griffin Park boardroom with the message don't come back, with emphasis on the timing part. If the club was £20k below it's overdraft limit and Noades did remove all the BU directors, would BU ask for the £80k to be repaid and see the club go into administration or would they allow Noades to effectively laugh in their face?

I can't be bothered to trawl through the many threads but Joe's statement was I would think academic.

I am certain that Joe posted last week that if Noades did return then Bees United would still have an influence with four board members under the BU loans to BFC agreement.

That sounded to me as "ducks in place" for a very undesireable Plan Z but the vibes coming out of the BFC boardroom are that Noades is gonna agree an extension with no wish to return to any role at BFC.

Surely the BU Board must be a little embarrassed over this...unless they are also planning to get paid the 'gping rate' for helping to save BFC
