Amused me to see Everton have signed two Chinese players both called Li.

Evidently, David Moyes was after Li Tie but the directors came back with the wrong Li, Li Weifeng!! Everton have now signed Li Tie on a years loan also. Interesting to see if Li Weifeng plays at all.

Reminiscent of when Milan bought Luther Blissett, when he arrived at Milan airport, club officials were surprised to see the player they had just signed was black!!

Or remember Aly Dia who managed to play half a game for Southampton having conned Graeme Souness that he had a personal reccommendation from George Weah. I think it has even happened to Cheaterfield this pre season, although they have found out there supposed Finnish Under 21 internation before he even played a game.

I believe that Brentford were also the victims of a similar trick, by name of Steve Jones!
