Thought he'd been sub before but you win that argument.

From my calculations, may be wrong though. 6 starts, 1 game coming off the bench and 1 game where he stayed on the bench (against Walsall). Please stop arguing though, I thought we were all Bees ... ;) :fishing:

What's the panic, Tom can slot into the back 4 if required. Liam Moore is a very good player and too good for league one so the fact that Uwe wasn't giving him much game time suggests we can cope without him. We have plenty of options, no need to worry.

Don't worry about us, we're fine. lol

When has 'Tom' ever played centre back!? We will need cover for sure

We need Toms energy in middle of park and final third. He can play right back but that would mean that two of Logan Hodson and Bidwell are unavailable not to mention fact that kevin not seen as being match fit enough to play right back. Issue as said is centre back. We have absolutely no first team cove at centre back now do if we lose one of craig or dean then we are relying on a development squad player to fill in. Would be good to know what stays is on Kiernan as I thought he is still registered with us but simply out injured ??? Would think Kevin though will now see some bench time as he at least can fill in for part of a game but wouldn't want to start with Kevin at centre half

I was going to post the same. The only reference I can find is one of their fans saying it on a website.

I said the same thing earlier ,not on the club site nor his twitter

Liam Moore

Nota big fan of Moore but he's decent cover and with the window now shut it leaves us short of options.

Liam Moore

If true, and also referencing st Ledger going out on loan for them - he probably sanctioned it knowing that if a problem arose he could still call Moore back within 24 hours and obviously have (if true that he has)..

Liam Moore

Was confirmed on radio today by reporter at Leicester game

Liam Moore

Think you can sign them, they cabbage train with you etc and be paid, but can not be registered for any fixtures until the registration window re opens..

Liam Moore

He's just tweeted thanking brentford for letting him play and wishes us good luck for promotion # good club

According to Wikipedia, free agents can be signed at any stage of the season as long as they were released before the transfer window closed.

I dont think Uwe will bring in a player at this late stage. Will be an all for one, one for all squad mentality. Imagine either Mawson or Pierre will be called upon if necessary. Not sure between the two of them which one is ahead in the pecking order.

That's not how it works on Football Manager!

the potential problem with loan players. goes with the territory.

on the other side of the coin we can recall our players like we have done with german.

i would personally rather restrict loans to a maximum of three and 'for the season' but i accept i am in a minority of one!

Nice idea but we would have nowhere near the quality of the squad we have now.

Out of interest, why when it makes us a stronger side would you restrict it to three. As a result of the loan system we managed to attract quality players like Adam and Harlee who tried it, liked it and signed permanent deals.

If you have the right connections, play the right type of football then big clubs are far more likely to let very talented kids join. It's no co incidence that the loanees we get are so good now, it's because we are a club that they can see will benefit them. Long may it continue as suggests with the current regime and style we'll keep picking up really talented youngsters.

..............is Darren Powell available????????...........

Doubt it saw him playing for Hampton today against Ks Hampton lost 1-0 but he had a decent game.

KOC cover at centre back if needed?

Played their for the dev squad last week.

Liam Moore

Matt Somner not available either straight red for Ks 85mins captain as well.

We have one of our own ready to step up and take a subs role on the bench now, Aaron Pierre will do fine and is one of ours for the future.

Aaron Pierre looked quite good in the two Dev games I saw recently, and is currently captaining the side.
A supporter who watches these matches regularly says Piere and Mawson have both been playing well.
Bearing in mind they are often up against Dev sides from Championship and Premiership, that bodes rather well.
Plus, of course, King Kev, although I imagine it may still be a few weeks before he is match fit etc.
Liam Moore is, nevertheless, a big loss.
But I do not think we should get too fearful...

Alfie Mawson is on loan to Maidenhead at present. Meant to be until the end of the season. He's been there for 28 days already, so could be called back, but I think Aaron Pierre will now be cover for the first XI.

Whilst I like Moore I think he can be quite unpredictable on the ball sometimes, so this isn't a massive loss for me and we could have lost worse players.

Defender returns to Leicester City
Liam Moore has been recalled by Leicester City from his loan spell at Brentford.
Leicester City require Moore as defensive cover following the sending off of Wes Morgan against Millwall on Good Friday, and the departure of Sean St. Ledger on loan to Millwall.
The 20-year-old centre-back joined The Bees in February and featured seven times during his spell at Griffin Park, helping The Bees to five wins in those seven games.
Brentford Sporting Director Mark Warburton said: “Liam played a considerable amount of game time for us in his spell here.
“He is an outstanding young professional both on and off the pitch who has a bright future in the game.”
“We look forward to working with him again in the months or years to come and we wish both him and Leicester City all the best for the remainder of the season.”

Are we signing him?

Pierre is a beast of a lad. He will be fine covering if required. Plus KOC can do a job in there as well.

was a great lil player would love to see him

Isn't Pierre a left back? That's where he played against Southend in the JPT this season. Certainly a big lad so coping with the physicality of first team football shouldn't be a problem.

He's a CB.

So was Legge, it didn't mean he was good enough calibre for us.

True true. I always liked Legge, he won everything in the air but didn't have the pace to cut it at the top of league one. Hopefully Pierre will do a good job for us, if called upon.

Liam Moore

A big loss, able to provide cover in a number of positions, which allowed us to drop Bidwell when he needed a rest. Gave us options and experience that cannot be replicated by a development player. We will miss him imo.

Liam Moore

Relaxed about this... One of the Dev Squad to step up if needed... which they probably won't be. Glad to have settled back 4 & GK otherwise.
