Lloyd's agent is rumoured to be confident of getting him a contract with a Championship club for next season once he proves his fitness!
So that will rule out us, Southend and MK Dons!
playing in the championship next season i'll eat my (leather)hat! We have paid him a fortune for a year for not playing and we are not the first..not his fault as he wants to play but it is the risk you take with him.

Lloydy is well past it, true dat.
... and certainly a great deal more than any premium would have cost.

I very much doubt it. It is far cheaper for clubs to gamble on their high earners not getting injured. We've just been extremely unlucky this season.
he has a rolling three month injury, with a view to a permanent injury.![]()

definately not having a laugh, Lloydie IS too good for League 2 er he earns 2 grand a week.................I rest my case
If he plays next season it would have to be on a "pay as you play" basis.
.....no pay as you play
If only the club would look around to see if some deals could be done on Temporary Disablement Cover specifically for the higher earners. Skullasson, Owusu, Rhodes & even Nelson now have cost the club a fortune in recent times and certainly a great deal more than any premium would have cost.
Owusu said saturday at half time that he was hopeful to be fit for the end of feb/ early march. He probly wont be match fit until about april which leaves him 7 games to keep us up.

said on sky sports news he is back soon, any more info on this?
