Loan keeper?

Will uwe bring one in? Will anyone even lend us one if it's pretty much guarenteed they won't play (guess if we pay his wages why not though?)

other options:
youngster (jack Middleton)
Simon Royce (hope not!)
short term contract for a currently unattatched keeper

Do we know the extent of Moore's injury ?

Peter Schmeical too old? Paul Priddy maybe?

Loan keeper?

we'll get one on an emergency loan surely? Like what we did with Andersen from Reading.

Loan keeper?

Stick the kid on the bench, it'll be good experience for him, especially if he's needed as a sub. If Lee's out for a game, get in a loanee, who should be lined up just in case.

Btw, who would've replaced Lee if the opportunity arose? My money's on Eger.

Difference is Anderson played. If we got a loanee In he would most likely be on the bench for 6 games.

If we were to get one though, how about Paul smith? (won't happen but always seems a shame he isn't playing these days)

I thought Anderson was on the bench against Bradford ;)

Most sub goalies generally don't get run outs anyway, so it wouldn't make a vaste difference to a lot of keepers out there. If we could get a higher division teams 3rd choice then it would benefit them as it would at least get them pitch side, as well as a possible start against Bournmouth in the JPT and maybe an F.A. Cup game.

Loan keeper?

Salford Bee is correct, Anderson (Lloyd, that is!) was on the bench against Bradford.

Andersen (Mikkel) played, though...!!

That is correct, which was why there was a winking smiley. :)

Simon's arm was in a sling yesterday and it'll be a few weeks or so till he's back.

I thought Gary Alexander was an option for sub keeper but Richard Lee said it would've been Eger! :grey:

Loan keeper?

I'll be interested to see who Rosler has in mind, effectively we need someone for a month to sit on the bench, possibly start against Bournemouth in the JPT but that is all. Not sure too many Premier League managers will be keen on sending someone out on loan who isn't going to play. Perhaps a keeper currently without a club on a short term contract?

You're good enough! :looks:

Email the club :banghead:

Can't be worse than Royce!!

According to the member of coaching staff sitting in the stands in front of me, Gary Alexander would have gone in goal should anything have happened to Richard Lee. He also said Simon Royce isn't registered.

from Richard Lee: it wouldve been Marcel! It was painful, haven't been winded like that in a long time.. @gazalex29 fancied it!

Beesworld said that Chesterfield obviously realised we had no sub keeper and in 2nd half set out to hurt Richard Lee...

What Mark Burridge actually said on The BeesPlayer Show was that with Brentford not having a keeper on the bench 'Would Chesterfield consider targeting Richard Lee at crosses and 50/50's?'

Loan keeper?

I'm glad you clarified that Luis as I didn't see anything untoward yesterday nor would anyone on Beesworld ever have suggested such a thing IMO.

No we didn't. What Luis Melville said was correct and NLB is right too, no one wuld ever suggest a team is out to "hurt" another player. There is a difference is no backing out of challenges and deliberately hurting someone. I thought you were a ref and would not misquote the way you have

sorry Mark, that is what I meant.. I didn't mean to literally go out and get him...

Loan keeper?

I'm a semi pro keeper up here in the midlands! I would sit on the bench!

Who do I write to? Ha ha

Loan keeper?

Dean Wells is a very capable keeper, but is he cup tied, playing for Staines ?

If so, then what about [insert name here of someone from Leicester, Sunderland or Watford]

Loan keeper?

The referee might not have spotted him

Loan keeper?

If we sign a loan keeper does this count against our loans quota because we still need cover in other areas it seems. I seem to believe that emergency borrowing of keepers doesn't count.
Perhaps it's time to exhume Chic Brodie

Loan keeper?

Ashley bayes is not doing much these days??

Loan keeper?

Errrrr think he could be cup tied for someone...

One of the Bees best keepers ever.

I meant keep the kid on the bench and if we get an injury or Lee gets sent off then we will get one on loan for the next game. We did it with Andersen after Hamer got sent off against Barrow. (i think)

I'm waiting for Gaffer Here or Secretary Here to recommend my services to the club. :)

Loan keeper?

He was consistent - everything slipped through his fingers!!!

Yes but, to his credit, he did use other parts of his rather large body to stop the ball reaching the net and intimidate the centre-forwards of the day.

Loan keeper?

Suspect we will find a young kid from a Championship or Premiership team who will benefit from sampling the first team atmosphere - unless there is an old lag hanging around somewhere who can come in for a month

Loan keeper?

I wonder if Tony Roberts fancies a brief non-contract stint as cover?

I think he has a little bit of coaching work to do on coming out of your area with one of our former keepers after last Saturday
