Our depth is arguably better than we think for next season? I'd say pretty much have a very solid natural backup for every position bar left back and maybe for Jensen:

Raya/Strakosha/Cox (will probably have to sign someone in summer if Raya goes)
Hickey/Roerslev/Ajer
Pinnock/Mee/Pontus/Zanka/Ajer even Goode and MBS arent complete liabilities
Rico/Hickey
Norgaard/Onyeka/Bidstrup
Da Silva/Damsgaard/Vitaly
Jensen/Baptiste/Ghoddos
Mbeumo/Schade
Toney/Schade
Wissa/KLP

Even likes of Crama, NYC, Trevitt and Yarmolyuk could start pushing through next year.
Better than we think for next season. I’m not sure Tom. Of those you’ve listed I’d suggest that 6 of those will probably be gone and I’m not including Raya. Some serious upgrades in a few departments if we are to proceed up the Premiership ladder ?

Agreed, as you'd expect in a summer transfer window. Who do you think will go? Can't imagine many of the starters leaving unless good money is offered (bar raya)

Apart from Raya who looks ( unfortunately) like he won’t be here and apart from Bidstrup. I’d guess all the players currently out on loan plus a few other mainly bench warmers. I guess MB will bring in better quality and some of those that are currently first team starters will slip to the bench as the squad gets stronger. Rinse and repeat just as it has been for the last 10 seasons or so.

Really hope Bidstrup gets an opportunity. Was an absolute Rolls Royce at Stoke in the cup last year, and i know people said similar about the Port Vale game. Dominating the Danish league, and even though its a clear drop down in standard i really hope he's got what it takes

Champions league or nothing as far as I’m concerned.

I hope we finish eighth, and Fulham ninth. I think it’s too soon for a European campaign. The squad depth would need to increase massively for us to compete and I think it would be a huge distraction. You only need to look at the effect on West Ham and Leicester this season to see what could happen if you’re playing Thursday, Sunday, Thursday, Sunday, etc.

I have dreamed of playing a competitive game abroad for donkeys years, but the timing has to be right.
While I do agree with you on the whole, if there’s one management team who could meet the demands of European football I think it’s BFC

May have missed this in another thread, but if West Ham win the Conference League does that mean only the top 6 get European spots?

Brighton have finished 15th, 17th, 15th, 16th, 9th and are now 7th. Bees have finished 13th and are now 8th. That's remarkable progress by the club but, as Brighton have shown, it takes time to build a consistent quality side.
But they didn't and don't have Thomas Frank. ?

Not really seeing which team ahead of us it's plausible we supercede as they're either too good or have a couple of games on us.

Other than possibly Chelsea finding their form (... not seeing it, honestly) I'm not quite seeing which team behind us could string together enough to get ahead of us ...

I'll be boring and say we'll stay 8th
